I decided tonight not to go, because I really can't afford it. I'll try to sell my tix on eBay instead, so that I have money to buy food in september :(

Ooooo, sassy Ed!
I can't wait to hear Don't Fight Control. I get giddy thinking about L.A, haha. I mean, I have the Munich bootleg of the set and I think that part of the show is brilliant, a nod of respect to Primal Scream and having the mash up... respect! So hearing it live will be sweet. Don't Fight It Feel It is old skool rave, and raving it up at a Chems show - it's what you do!
Ah well Ben_j. I can understand it's not financially feasible for you to go - I'd give the tickets a good home if I could. ;)

at summercase i brought my friend jennie who wasn't really a chems fan to the gig, anyway the night before we were in her flat in barca and she played don't fight feel it and said it was one of her fav tracks ever, i said obv chems play it live and she was yeah right. the next night at chems the female vocals of don't fight it feel it start and she jumps over to me and starts screaming.it was a good moment that night.

I take it everyone else is at Bestival then?
There are about 15 folk from Efestivals meeting up but we havent decided on a location yet...although the Spoonies near St Martins College has been mentioned. A short walk back to Traf Square but cheap drinkies cos there arent many cheap places near the Square really.

Is that the weatherspoons MrThinker mentioned?
(Sorry, I've only ever been to London once). If it is, it's been the only place mentioned and it looks like where we will be meeting.
Unless anyone can mention any other places? I think we should make the meet-up location final next Friday so we all have a week at least to get our bearings, meet times, travel to there sorted.

I can't get the time off. Late August / early September was only real slot I could take time off, and I couldn't make to Creamfields because I'd already booked my full weekend camping with all my mates at Leeds. I tried for the Friday Brixton gig too but they'd sold out by the time I got the £ together :-(
I haven't really been able to make to gigs the past couple of years with my mum being ill and passing just a little over a month ago. But I'm trying like mad to get to as many gigs as possible and get to know all you guys. I've been an absolute Chemical fanatic for around 10 years now. And I don't know a single soul around the area here who appreciates them as much as we do, so hopefully Tralagar is going to be the first of many to come for me.
Do you think the Chems will do Turnmills again this year?

Another option is...a booze up in St James Park?! Cheap, plenty of space and nearby too!
My mate Dave who the Turnmills NYE crew all met is doing just that!
I am working til 5 and wont be able to make it to town centre til 6 probably and by then surely we will all be making our ways to the site...but then again...until we get/know running times then...whatever...I'll shut up now!
NICE one that Acidchildren and chemicalfan are leaving Bestival to join us! That is dedication...if I had gone to Bestival I would have done the same!
Have entered two final times to try and win some tix for myself...will mean I have a spare if I do. Scooby will have one and someone else can have me other...of course I have to win em first! Teehee!
