I've found an old interview of Norman Cook in an old "Rock & Folk" (french music magazine). It was for the promo of "Halfway between the gutter and the stars'. The interviewer asked where the name "Retox" came from.

Norman explained that he was having holidays in Italy with Tom, Ed and their girlfriends and that they had decided not to have any drugs or alcohols. The only thing they had was wine. It was a detox. Norm also says that they was riding bikes on the mountains with Tom & Ed X-D

Near the end of the holidays, Ed's girlfriend was saying "I can't wait to go home to have a retox program"

And the name of the song "Retox" came from there (and i love this ass kicking song :D )
