You guys heard Nothing But Pleasure used as a backing loop/mix in Felix Da Housecats IBIZA Space Mix in July? Not bad. Another different take on using it. From about 16 min in it starts with the first track that it blends in with and continues on for a while.

This the one? I'm hearing it come in around the 20 min, 15 sec mark.

^ ah yes. That's what I get for skipping through too quickly. It almost completely disappears around the 19 minute mark before reappearing again.

Thats what i liked about Felix's mixes he'll get something cool like that and intertwine it with some tracks that compliment each other throughout. Not many DJs can be arsed doing things like that anymore.
Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.

Yeah, that is indeed quite some fun to do! I was forced to do a small dj'ing thing at a friends birthday party and excersised beforehand with virtual dj. It was so nice to mix and loop different tracks while creating something new.

Felix did a great job on that.

I really like Felix - bought some of his choons, seen him dj live. But I worry for him. One of these days there's going to be a story about how the tequila bottle had to be surgically removed from his hand on his way to rehab. Just sayin.

Might be happy to hear that Felix has been spending the last few years going sober himself:

Quote

But despite all this success, an increasingly wild lifestyle (including a fierce mezcal habit) combined with the pressures of unrequited hyperbole forced Felix to hit the reset button a few years back. “I became sober and got in touch with my spirit, I saw everything clear. Some promoters book me because they think they are getting the Mezcalateer. Some are afraid of the Mezcalateer. Some find I'm sober and will try to test me by offering me shots but I fight them off. I am Thee Former Mezcalateer. Retired. I found myself literally dancing with the devil. No joke. The four years off was due to personal life, spirit, booze, you name it. I had to find my way back. I survived and I went through my 9 lives over 10 times."

Thanks for the find BenJ. (I didnt getting around to shazzaming that mofo if it wouldve worked that way)

Some people have paid me out sticking by him as maybe one or 2 albums weren't as poplular as others but knew he had an ear so its still worth checking him out and seeing what he's up to. Personal problems aside too. He's living in London now apparently.
