I am kinda disappointed with Immersion - I had loved the way they had re-invented themselves completely with In Silico - loved that record. This one seems like they've gone stagnant already - a few good songs, but I was expecting much more from Pendulum.
The Caroline look-alike is the point of this thread! the tags.

Don't like their new stuff at all. Much preferred their earlier stuff. I was going to see them when they came to Aus a couple of months ago but the only way to get tickets was to use a debit MasterCard. Fuck that.
I thought their 3D clip was pretty cool though.

Gotta agree with this one, it's just like a continuation of In Silico on the whole. I like what they did in The Island, some bits felt kinda chemical for some reason. But their ventures into dubstep just flat out fail - they can't do it.
I'd rather they'd gone back to more of the Hold Your Colour stuff, the more liquid stuff, rather than trying to mash rock with DnB. It worked (it still does), but it's not original anymore really

Very well put chemicalfan!
I was very very dejected the first time I heard the Island - it's like a fucking Chicane song with Rob Swire - only when I heard the second part I was relieved - I've still no idea why part 1 exists, it's so average and 10 yrs ago.
The point of this thread wasn't Pendulum, it was the Caroline in their video - no one saw the video?
