Hi! I am a young video producer. I mainly make promo videos for small companies and I really like to use cool music for my videos. The problem with copyrighted music is that you have to ask the music author to give you permission to use your desired track for your video, which leads me here. I'd really like to use „The Test“ from the Come with us album for a recent video, and I'd like to know (maybe from one of the brothers byself) what it would take to do so, or if it's possible at all and at what costs.

Maybe you can help a young video producer who doesnt want to use porn-royalty-free music or rubbish-selfmade-music, but super-cool-chembros-music ;-)

ermm, i don't think the brothers would allow their music to be used - u can always go ahead and use it anyway, and then get sued later, chances of which are very remote. If u'r selling these videos for commercial purposes, which you are, u'll need to contact their management company/ astrelworks for rights and pay em.

i see short clips used by vh1 and mtv and channel v all the time on tv, so i think legally u'r allowed to use upto a few seconds free for only media purposes.

but then the brothers themselves got into trouble themselves a few times with such cases so if it's not something too big that'd catch their eye, u, err, well, ;)
