Live-in Music Launch Party @ Hidden, Sat15th April 2006

April bank holiday sees the launch of Live-in Music?s showcase events at London?s hottest new underground venue, Hidden. The events will see the label arists playing alongside their main influences and will act as a platform for some of the finest live talent on the seen. In addtion, the UKs most exciting promoters are being invited down to programme a room with a freedom to stamp their own unique mark on proceddings.

First up, Live-in Music?s finest will be joined in the Cube by Phil Kieran for an exploration of the finest Electronic beats. Phil Kierian has been desribed as one of the hardest working producers in the industry with releases on Electrix, Kingsize, Novamute, Skint, Soma, and Yoshitoshi. Phil?s sets can confidently guide a dancefloor, with the odd detour via Joy division and Depeche Mode.

Leading the way for Live-in Music is RobotWon with a decks and effects set that rocked dancefloors across London and Amsterdam in 2005. His energetic style involves him working his way across two decks, two CDjs and two effects units. Alongside R1 we have SoundAlliance (Live) who have been heavily backed by James Zabiela and have releases out on Renaissance and Distinctive and Jeet head honcho at Nottingham?s premier Techno night Firefly.

For the breakbeat fans Max Cooper has taken a rest from doing guest mixes on Radio 1 to programme the music in the Soundbox. Lee Coombs, who in 2005 released the brilliant 'Breakfast of Champions' as well as the excellent singles 'Shiver? on Fingerlickin will be bringing some of the freshs dubplates from his fledgeling imprint, Thrust. Joining them will be Precision Cuts (Streetwise/Pocket Rocket), Steelo feat.McXander (Chew the fat) and Tom Real B2B with Rouge Audio.

The Parlour is handed over to FFaction one of London?s finest DIY parties that has been creating a stir in Old Street for their back to basics shindigs over the past two years. Described by those in the know as ?Festival friendliness with timeless beats and images giving a hedonistic experience tinged with idiocy?. Anything goes with these guys and their smiling, friendly crowd add to every party. The residents Buba & Diop, Missaw and PATL will be joined by Radio 1 Extra and DMC Chamption DJ Blakey with extra support from Throwdown favourties Chop Suey for some DJ battles and breakdancing.

Hidden, 100 Tinworth Street London. www.hiddenclub.co.uk
