So rumors has it that the Chems might play in Austin, TX this year for the ACL music festival! I go each year, so I hope hope hope its true!

Anyone think this is legit or just typical pre-lineup BS?

They play in Ireland the week or so before, so that might help or not. But since they just went through N America last month, I'd guess not. But I might be wrong, kinda hope so in this case!

If the Chems played in Austin, well... I guess that would be a *good* reason for me to go to Texas for a change!

But I'm gonna go with Biff and say this is speculation. I suppose we won't know til we know. I am curious though - where'd you hear the rumors?

I will definitely go if they play in Austin (as long as I can get off work).

Well I live in Austin so there is always a lot of talk amongst the locals. The biggest rumor, as it is every year, is that radiohead is playing. Apparently since this is the ACL 10 year, they are trying to have the ultimate lineup. So that being said, they have moved the show from october to september to accommodate radiohead and along with that rumor is that daft punk, the beastie boys, red hot chili peppers, and my favorite, the chems are all playing.

Lineup comes out the 17th...

I always assume that none of the rumors are true, but a lot of them tend to be.

Oh man, that would be a sweet line up indeed to mark the 10 year anniversary!
