The whole point about lost, that you have to understand if you want to enjoy it, is that the plot does not matter, at all.
There will never be a satisfying resolution to any of it. Every mystery will only be replaced by another mystery.
If you want to enjoy lost, you have to watch it for the characters. Only the characters actually progress or acheive any kind of resolutions. The story will always just be smoke and mirrors.
Remember last season? Where desmond spent a whole episode wandering around in time? What's up with that? Will we ever know? No, of course not. Would the whole world have ended if Des hadn't turned that key? We'll never know. What's up with the 4 toed statue? We will never know, or if we do, it will be something completely mundane and inconsequential.
I watch it because I enjoy watching Sawyer be evil, locke being crazy, jack being conflicted, hurley being confused and kate swimming in her underwear, and that's all I expect of it.

im not sure if the arg (www.find815.com)is actually playing into the new season or not... so I will throw this out there:
the black guy that visits hurly in the psych ward, who the hell is he with? is he with the Hanso Foundations, apart of the others (we see ethan rom can visit civilization, why can't the rest of them), apart of DHARMA, The Maxwell group... too many damn groups to deal with, if you ask me..
but on that same note, I look forward to this season being about the mysteries of the island more than the crying of Jack. ( c:

man i'm annoyed.
Does this mean Sayid is the man on the boat? I've just missed loads of this episode cos my girlfriend wanted to watch rich people build houses for poor people in South Africa. Thank internet for catch-up!

theres a theory out there, that since theres a big fuck-up with time and everything, that Sayid could infact be the man on the boat. but thats way out there, most ppl think its Michael, i could almost say as a fact it is, since he IS coming back this season...

Grrrrr!!! I hate this show.
I love this show.
I hate to love this show and it's so frustrating. :P
I won't give anything away but I thought it was a pretty good one last night, the conclusion opening yet another door to whatever-ness. A real WTF'er of an episode (just like most of the other episodes, haha).
