Dont know if any of you ever heard of him (Whirly perhaps?) but Dan passed away this week and I for one will miss him.Musically he was about as far as you could get from the Brothers as he was a classic singer songwriter from the 70's 80's but he was an awesome multi instrumentalist and much under rated.Another thing I liked about him is that he was a regular guy who shunned the excesses of the music industry and rejected celebrity and fame, prefering to live in the mountains of Colorado a quiet and non fussy life.He also did a lot for environmental organisations in later years.Prostate cancer got him after a 3 year battle.He was just 56.
