That’s right. Trent Reznor and Karen O teamed up to record a cover for Led Zeppelin’s legendary “Immigrant Song”. They recorded the cover for the upcoming David Fincher film, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Reznor helped Fincher out with the score for The Social Network, and even won an Oscar because of his work.

The song is attatched to the red-band trailer of the film. The trailer and (what we hear of the) song are pretty mind blowing. Check it out below:

You have the swedish film on your HDD

This is a new adaptation by David Fincher

if it wasnt Fincher i'd be skeptical, the swedish film was great

:shock: This is a remake of the Stieg Larsson movie(s) ? I did like those three films a lot.
Thats why i don't like hollywood that much - a good movie is been released but it's not from hollywood so someone has to do a hollywood/us-remake...

The song it´s a big meh to me and that carbon copy of the Swedish movies is totally unnecessary, even if it has the Fincher name attached to it. No one will be able to top the amazing and iconic performance of Noomi Rapace in the original trilogy.

i'm holding judgement on the film until i see it

with it being an adaptation of a book, and with fincher being a good director, i'm hoping theyve taken a fresh take on the book, as opposed to a straight up remake of the swedish movie


but then i dont doubt hollywood in its shamelessness
