I was lurking the 4chan's /b and ran into a post that mentioned The Ultra Music Festival in Miami Fl ( http://www.ultramusicfestival.com/ )

Anyone here been? Is it any good?

At this point, I am thinking it'd be a good road trip, plus it has some pretty good headliners:

Prodigy, Paul Van Dyke, Roni Size/Reprazent, Carl Cox, Moby, Tiesto, and a bunch more.

So... Sway my opinion guys and gals.

You have no idea how much I'd rather go to this festival than Coachella.

No idea.

Very impressive line-up, even the smaller act are A+! Plus see DJ Icey, SMD, Planet of the Drums, etc.

Carl Cox is a great all around DJ.

PVD and Tiesto are automatic crowd gatherer's.

Roni, Prodigy, Bloc Party...nuff said!

Go Bro!

It's in Florida, so expect some FAT BASS!

/r9k/ is where its at

Gonna have all the festivals this year. I haven't seen many mind blowing lineups yet. If i'm traveling far to a concert, it'd be nice to see the chems since I have seen them since 2003.

with this much /b talk around, I am now afraid of being rolled.

I agree with pooter, more impressive then coachella. The lineup feels like a circa late 90's festival with all the recent kiddy acts thrown in too draw in the coke dealers and their hipster clients who follow them.....I sounded like such a dick right there. Florida is a little far for this canadian to travel though right now.

now waiting to see what Sasquatch, Pemberton, or V fest look like.

You dickcheeses! there is no such thing as /b.

Hey Rynostar, have you ever looked up this Canadian festival http://www.shambhalamusicfestival.com/ ? I'll be honest I don't know too many of the artists and would be hesitant to pay a lot of money to see unfamiliar DJ's. But god damn, when you have an Ewok village for a stage, that's fuckin awesome.

Ultra Fest looks alright, I still prefer Coachella's lineup (don't hurt me!) I don't know if I could handle non stop Electronic music 2 days straight. Plus, I dont think I'm pretty enough to be in the city limits of Miami.

Does it make me sound old if I say that a 2-day electronic music fest sounds exhausting?

Cool line up, though. I dig Carl Cox.

It makes you sound halfway old, yes. :-p

I would love this festival, mostly because it would give me an excuse to do excessive amounts of drugs. ;-)

 You guys are funny.

After further observation, I fear I am past the threshhold that personifies me as halfway old. For I am clearly too tired and too elderly for 2 days worth of incessant banging with coke dealers and their hipster clients.

So you kids just run along now. And get off my lawn.

Dude, Bosco, I got through fifty seconds of that clip.

Fucking Kid Rock...

And Whirls, we're partying on your lawn. :D
