Just download the zip file in the blog section of the Chemical Brothers MySpace page to get the raw audio files and mix away.

Then post your completed remix as the first track in your MySpace music player and then leave a comment below with the link.

The winner of the contest will have his or her remix featured in The Chemical Brothers' MySpace player for 2 weeks - and receive a prize pack of Chemical Brothers 12" singles.

All entries must be received by Friday, August 24th at noon EST.

Please keep an mp3 of your remix, as the winner will need to provide us with one to put in our player.

Since those who enter the contest will be posting the URL to their entries below, we ask that no one who isn't entering the contest leave comments.

I'm definitely excited for a real remix contest, the ebw9 was good fun but allowed little to no input of personal style...

we get to actually put in our own stuff and filter samples and all that, instead of just arranging a bunch of samples.

yeah, the galvanize remix was fun, I didn't have any good ideas but it was always fun to tinker with, hopefully this one will more strike at something I could do...

anyone from these parts done a remix yet?

After hearing the "heavily smoked" salmon, I kinda had no other ideas. Everything about that mix was very similar to what I wanted to do. So whatever. I'm happy in the end.

I am curious to see what other forum members are up to with this.

I've been working on one, but no guarantees it will be complete, sort of a between work and summer classes project. really good ideas brewing for a song that seems tougher to remix than say galvanize.
