It seems that any new posts I make are invisible now that you've made my account a mod account.

Just pointing this out, in case you weren't aware of it.

(btw, thanks, I won't let the Brothers down)

I do, however, as slipvin now knows, still have the ability to moderate with that account.

abusing your mod powers is so childish. you shouldn't be mod because all you do is abuse it.

You realize that even Ed thinks that you're a cunt, and there's absolutely nothing I can do to you that would be considered abuse, right?

they KNOW that I will fuck with you if I'm a mod, and yet, amazingly, they did it anyway. See if you can figure out what that means.

As soon as this is taken care of, this thread will be deleted anyway.

Um no.

You deleted my post for no reason at all other than to annoy me. The post wasn't racist, sexist, facist, violent etc. It was a sign of relief. Deleting it just like that is what I call abuse.

Mods should be able to take a little heat now and then from users like me. You certainly ain't in the right shape to be a mod, since you just join in calling me names and all, and behave like a loon most of the time when I'm around. Real mods don't do stuff like this. That's why I don't take you seriously. Like in the past, editing my posts trying to be funny and look smart...

Your behaviour is so not acceptable, especially as a mod you fail... hard.

Why should anyone have to take anything from you?

I don't have to take shit from you, and neither does anyone else.

I deleted your post because it was a flame. You were flaming a moderator, in a thread that was related only to a technical problem. You contribution is not helpful.

If you're too dim to realize that there is absolutely no scenario where this ends well for you, then by all means, keep it up.

Frankly your jealousy is unbecoming.

Jealousy at what!??! At your mod-status? That's the last thing I would want, is being a mod of this place. My rep would be blown to hell btw.

Come on man, if I got a nickel everytime someone used the word jealousy to take care of the problem and trying to get out of a conversation I would be a fucking millionaire.

You don't have to take shit from me, that's right. But as a mod you don't seem to realize you have a certain responsibilty towards the users of this board. Abusing your powers just to edit posts that really ain't that bad just because you get annoyed by someone really isn't done the way it should be done. And you've proven that you ain't up for the job in the past. Shame you don't seem to realize that at all.

"newfound" mod powers?

uhm... I've been moderating the forum with the s2a account for the last 6 or 7 months.

And I do have a responsibilty to the users of this board, and that responsibility includes making sure that trolls like you are kept in check.

riiiiiight... you never, ever asked to be a mod. I lack the time and inclination to search the forum and post links, but everyone knows you did.

And my responsibility is to the Brothers, and the Brothers alone.

This is going to be really hard but i'll try.

I agree with slipvin the enormous cunt. Being mod does not give anyone the license to be callous towards other members no matter how much you disagree with them. I'm not talking about you stash, just abstractly. Mods everywhere seem to abuse this power and edit or delete posts and threads pointlessly.

Slipvin is a cunt, that is given but he still hasn't caused enough nuisance here for his account to be deleted.

So, a majority of people think he should just be banned. Its a public forum afterall and his opinion might not matter to some and it might matter to some who are just cruising by this forum.

It Tom and ED themselves feel that he should be banned then that's a different story.

meh

"It Tom and ED themselves feel that he should be banned then that's a different story." ;)

I've never, ever edited anyone's posts, except for one or two trolls and slipvin, who decided to start making personal attacks against me and my wife. If he hadn't decided to get personal, that never would have happened. The only reason I even did that was that the last forum had no 'Ban' button, and it was the quickest way to make someone give up and go away. It worked twice, but slipvin was too dense to get the point.

I would never, ever do that to any real forum members, and I think that absolutely everyone knows that...

shit, I meet up with too many of you people, I can't afford to piss anyone off.

That said, if they decide they want me to mod, I will do whatever Tom & Ed or their duly appointed representatives tell me to do.

There were never any guidelines whatsoever that came along with the other forum, so we had to do what we thought best.

You know what, i still can't believe people would make personal attacks towards each other after being on this forum for so long. That's just downright pathetic. In that case you did the right thing.

Slivpin, your posts were amusing the first time around but then repeatedly bringing down chems and just bringing negative vibe around this place is just not cool.

grow some pubes.

the main thing to remember is that I would absolutely never do anything to piss Tom & Ed off.

Not unless I wanted a divorce.

sad, but true.

Well , ive said my opinion on this matter before.

I did not agree on things that happend to Slipvins posts.

But i do agree he's a pain in the arse. To put it nicely. The point is , where do you draw the line u know. I am fucking annoyed by Slipvin , but i ignore him most of the time. If he feels the need to be negative about everything , i just feel sad for him.

Even Ed was asking on NYE "Where's Slipvin?" Hahaha.

Anyway -

Yeah. U guys know my opinion on this whole matter.

I trust that Stash will not misabuse his mod-powers.

Idea : Maybe , when important decisions have to be made , Stash can make a poll or something. Most votes count. This way everybody can say what they think and its more fair.

I forgot to mention that whirly was also given mod status, and I assume that the same thing happened when she posted from her account as happened to me, that is, the posts only show to other mod accounts.

In most forums, mods piss people off sometimes. This cannot be helped. I think I did a very good job of not pissing off most people. Matter like banning people are not usually moderators responsibilities, that's taken care of by the admin, and if the admin is smart, he won't ever post here, just take care of things behind the scenes.

ya, this could have easily been made a normal topic but it's nice to see that we can still have stickys and the mods are active.

Hey make some more stickys!
