yeah, I had to cancel on the Simian Mobile Disco show in Chicago. All my finaces are going to my upcomming Chemical Brothers trip.

Hopefully for Coachella 2008 though...

gave his mop a chop,

OMG I just got home... it's 11:15 Sunday morning!

Last night was amazing! Me, my gf and my friend Erin were the second in line and we were right in front of the stage, so close I was able to shake James Ford's hand TWICE!

Before SMD came on there was a performance by these 2 DJ's (JDH & Dave P), then an unknown duo came on and performed a live mini set, funny thing about this was that this dumb blonde broad though these 2 guys were actually SMD and started cheering "Yeeeeah, do HUSTLER!!! HUSTLER!!!!" so I turn around and yelled "WRONG BAND WRONG BAND!!" and some other dude was like "That's not them!!!!" I laughed so hard!! she disappeared after that...Anyways, after this the Dj's came on once again for a bit more, this time they really made my night by playing some basement jaxx, a chemical brothers salmon dance remix, justice and daft punk! After this, SMD finally came on and opened up with Sleep Deprivation an the place went nuts after that. THe only thing I was a bit disappointed was that they didn't play HOTDOG and ended too soon! They just left without saying thanks and had the whole crowd stand there wondering "wtf? is this it?"

I can't believe I was so close to them... I was able to see them perform in extreme detail! I hope it's the same for the chems this weekend!

holy shit! how the fuck can they not play Hotdog?! thats fucked up. i would have been sooo disappointed. cause as i said earlier, thats my fav. SMD song.

the one thing that i hate about ADSR is that its not even 40 minutes long. and the longest song is barely 5 minutes. the songs seem to end way early. i love extended material, thats why im being such a bitch about why their album is so short.

That show was so banging. I was not ready for it, since I never heard ADSR before (going to do the same for Justice, going to experience all their stuff live first). Mario I was looking for you, if you were in the front, I was right behind you. And alot of people thought that terrible duo was SMD. Anyways, the two DJ's (pretty good by the way) dropped EBW9 earlier in the night.

I KNOW I KNOW! I was really hoping they did HOTDOG for the encore...I guess they were in a hurry for the afterparty! And yeah, their album is SHORT!

APOSTLE! I need your number man so I can text you next time! I was the crazy dude all the way on front and right in front of one of their light bars (the left one) jumping like a mad man. I mean, that duo was okay...not music to dance to, but it was kinda creative. OH yeah, I was going crazy when I heard Electronic battle weapon 9!!!

It was the same when I saw them. Too short, but intense. Did they play the Go Team remix ? I discovered it during their live, and it was awesome !

awesome show last week. did not think i was gonna make it but my girl canceled out on me at the last minute so i didnt have to visit her mom. but nayway. i drove into the city and literally parked right outside the venue. i felt like a fucking VIP when i walked out. and drove to the higline. i ran into some hippy friends at the show and got a handfull of caps so needles to say the night was very thrillingg when the lights went out and the flashing sticks began. if anyone here went to the afterparty. do you remember the song that went..." anytime.anyhere. ACID.." or something to that sort. really loved this track. help a brother out please i want to hear this song again.
