Well if the Chems are in New York City on Sept 4th they WONT be playing Electric Picnic festival that same weekend in Ireland as I'd hoped.Wont get tickets for that now so.We'll get a stand alone gig in Dublin then or else,God forbid,they dont come over here at all!Unthinkable.But I'm still worried!

I can't imagine the Chems would leave out Ireland this time around, when previous tours had them playing gigs there.
Just a thought - If this upcoming tour is anything like the We Are The Night Tour, they are in it for the long haul. Maybe it's just me but that tour seemed to go on for ages!

Hi Whirls!I'm back after a long hiatus.Hows it going?
Hope you're right about getting a gig here again.Otherwise I'll have to travel I guess.Really thought they'd be at Electric Picnic again but not to be.Ah well here's to some more announcements in Europe.Will you see them in the States this summer?

It's good to have our forum's own Parrothead back on board!
The gig dates tend to trickle in at first so I imagine it's a matter of time before a full tour schedule is released. Seeing as how they are going to be in Poland on August 20th then in Los Angeles on August 29th, I'm guessing there's a lot of logistics still being worked out.

Yeah thats a good point.Would have thought that Polish gig would be the last of a batch in Europe before going Stateside for a couple of weeks.Will you see them anywhere besides HB?
I did notice the Paris gigs in October but I'm going there in late September to see Buffett so it'd be nice to go some place else for the Chems.
Exciting times........!

The announcement of live dates seems to have come to an abrupt stop.Maybe they are concentrating on getting the Roundhouse gigs out of the way first.Or maybe it'll be just a select few festival Dates during the summer with a full fledged autumn tour to follow around Europe.

As far as I remember, there were significantly more live events in the festivals around globe of chems during the year 2007.. Maybe it's because of recession, who knows.. But nevertheless, the quantity isn't the issue here, I think.. It could make the waiting much more rewarding this time.. As I look at the agenda, it's just couple of dates during each month of this summer. But it will make it more special..

There will likely be more dates added (I hope). I would imagine there's the logistics of touring that are still being ironed out. Going by past tours, the dates trickled in at first with more dates being revealed later on.
