Err, I wrote back to this guy about the dates, and I was told the dates have been moved forward worldwide, not just in India, here's the mail from the dude who heads the International Labels for EMI in India. Can someone check locally with EMI/ Virgin?

This change in release date is not only for India but across the globe, the album has shifted to 2nd July and the single to 18th June.

Btw, the guy's right, since Come With Us, we've been getting all the back catalogue of the studio albums at least - I personally have bought each album a'least 3-5 times, but I'm complainin bout is a strong promo - taking the music to the radios, and pushing it at the right places - let's see I'm gonna have a discussion today - anyone with any ideas - do let me know, I'm doing all this without any experience and completely outta my love for the einsteins of music, the gods of everything music and awe inspiring. Anything to make the Chems POP! ;)

Ok, if anyone's listening I've been networking with some house/ electro djs over the last few djs - passing them the myspace link to DIA since today morning now that it's a sticky and I can expect something to happen, here's what I heard from one of the new djs in town (like I said electro/ house/ etc etc is suddenly booming all over, and looming over trance finally, which is a good thing, if not the best!) :

We ll definitely fit this in the set… sounds filthy..!! more to the dark side.. am wondering if there is a dub version to this.. without the vocals.. Another thing to consider, too Jack is a lot of people are visual. Of course the music comes first and foremost, but promoting needs to have a visual aspect to it for it to help boost the music off the ground and get people to recognize the Chems by sight as well as sound. Or at least tap into the subconscious when the tunes aren't playing. As cold and harsh and advertising as it sounds - the Chemical Brothers are a brand you're trying to push and get people to believe in, so having a visual is important too I think. This is what's also smart about the Chems, they have aninstantly recognizable logo or "brand" right within their name. You see it, you know it. The strong visual for their album is also an excellent graphic.

You should see if Virgin can rack up a few goodies for you: stickers, postcards, poster flats, buttons (those are way cool) - anything with a visual showing the Chems brand. Then go to town.
