I didn't fully understand the plot but I still thought it was a great film. The big car chase bit was cool 8) .

Exactly. It was amazing. I was blown away by the action sequence. That car chase scene took them about a year to make

That whole car chase sequence, as gloriously eye candied as it was - was way too long and one big Cadillac/Chevy commercial. And that's only the tip of my gripes I've had with that sub-par sequel to the otherwise brilliant Matrix.

Nice special effects though.

That scene was way too long!! And the music was.. erm, bad.

I liked the first movie more (the feel was better & not as many stupid action scenes), but the part in Reloaded when Neo is speaking with the Architect made me grin. What wonderful irony! Especially good the second time around because I paid close attention to prior events...
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

First movie, thumbs up. More on substance, enough style to compliment the movie. Perfect use of special effects. (not overused) Reloaded seems like they blew it's entire wad on making eye candy, and though the story line coud have been cohesive, it was too scattered to make any sense the first time. No wonder people are seeing it multiple times. The scene with the architect was decent enough, there was definitely more passion in that scene than the cheesy rave/love sequence which imo was completely idio... Oh nevermind.

As for me, maybe I'll rent it, but I'm sure as hell not plunking down another $20 for me and my husband to see that movie again when we didn't much enjoy it the first time around.

So did anyone bother to sit through the obnoxious and way too long credits to see the trailer for the 3rd Matrix?

Completely. Agreed. I liked the rave though - the camera swoops were cool and Fluke's music worked.

Yup. But only because the movie ended before 12:30 and my dad wouldn't have been there to pick us up yet. Coolest teaser I've ever seen, though.

I find the wait for LOTR: Return of the King to be excruciating. It's very hard to get excited about any other movie until I see the final installment of Lord of the Rings. It's gonna be incredible.

Terminator 3... I'm not sure what to think of that but I'm sure I'll be seeing it in theaters like I've seen the others. I suppose it would be good campy fun, the Terminator movies always are, especially the 2nd one.

Not so excited about Matrix 3 though, the last one was a real turn off but maybe the 3rd movie will be the redemption flick.
