I can't be bothered cooking anything 95% of the time, but when I do it's an event. I take the everything-but-the kitchen-sink approach to cooking and it's never steered me wrong...... mmmmmmm....... spicy chicken breast stuffed with proscuitto on a bed of angel hair pasta (w/spicy alfredo sauce), topped with feta-stuffed jalapenos....... I think I need to go eat now........

Omg there is such a stupid program.

It's called " Better in Bed " and....OMFG.

Its like in every episode there is a couple with sex problems. And then this two experts are gonna help them. Now , it COULD be intresting if they wouldn't be so serious. Its so fucking hilarious , i'm laughing my butt off.

Anyways.

Dude, that's not student food!! Why try so hard, imagine the time spent cooking could be time spent sleeping in bed, or staring at the TV in a heavy intoxicated state!!

That's "impress the girlfriend when I'm too broke to take her out to a fancy restaurant" food! Like I said, 95% of the time I'm too lazy to cook anything. Bowl of cereal, or maybe some frozen chicken fingers.

But every once in a while, it's worth the effort to put something really good together. And it usually works out better than most restaurant meals.

I am in pain.

I had a root canal on my upper left tooth, second molar from the back. But that was a while ago - 2 years that tooth absessed something fierce and I had to have the root canal and a crown put on.

For the past few months, I've been getting minor infections that clear up easily enough with antibiotics. But not this time. My entire gumline around my molars is puffed out and my cheek is all swollen, and there's quick jabbing pains as well as a dull throbbing pain that seems like it's pulsating with my heart rate. And it feels like the pain is migrating to my lower jaw.

God, I hate it when my friggen mouth hurts. I hate it almost as much as going to the dentist. I have to be in a good deal of pain before I'll let anyone stick their fingers in my mouth and jab needles into my gums. And smear that nasty tasting novacaine in my mouth that's supposed to taste like pina coladas, but doesn't.

So I'm going to an endodontist (that's someone who deals with root canals gone amuck) tomorrow.

Bleh. Maybe they'll give me a little something for the pain.

Aw, thanks everyone for feeling my pain!! I'm off to the root canal specialist today! whoopee, yay me.

Foxy, I wore braces for a couple of years. Having a mouth full of metal is no fun at all, getting food stuck everywhere, it's so gross. My poor brother had to wear them as well, but for over 3 years. We both wore those rubber bands on our braces too, and we'd get in these rubber band fights. He had much better aim than I did. For such tiny rubber bands, those things pack a stinging punch! X-D

I'll never forget when I got them off, it felt so weird and my teeth felt so smooth. It was a happy day.

Now I have nice, straight teeth. My brother didn't get so lucky - his front teeth shifted back to where they used to be. I think the dentist pulled too many teeth and cranked the roof of his mouth too much before he had those braces put on.

I didnt like it.. looking back on it now it just seems unbereable.. but whne i had them it was that much of a fuss.. I used to wear the rubber bands too. although i always broke mine :P

And the metal bits.. such a rebel walkin back into the orthodontish..

Ortho - So Joseph.... Hows your braces today?

Fox - Em... Broke...

Ortho- For gods sake Joe

lol..

It was like that nearly all the time..

Yeh when i got mines off my teeth felt soooo big.. he even used the dentish toothbrush to clean them the one that feels like a big Drill... and they wer like super white..:D

There's a weird spider infestation here, too.

It must've been all the summer rains and all the humidity we had, we're getting spiders of jurassic proportions, and they're all fleshy and plain nasty. They build their webs in the walkways outside my apartment and it freaks me out to walk there every morning.

What's cool though is watching them from my balcony. They build webs between the trees, and they sit there waiting for their prey. It's creepy but fascinating when they catch something and they do whatever it is spiders do when something gets caught in their web.

I hate spiders, but I get the odd one in my room, living in the basement as I do.

Lucky me, I've never ever had any problems with my teeth (knock on wood!), but everyone else in my family has completely wrecked mouths. Unbelievable!
