I second Hubie's Vitalic - OK cowboy. instant classic

I think Kaiser Chiefs is highly overrated. If you want to listen to that kind of music theKillers and espacillialy Bloc Party are so much better

Also Beck Guero is great.

I go for Audioslave - Out of exile.

And I haven't got it yet but Turin Brakes - Jackinthebox is said to be great aswell. I'll get back to you on that one

ive heard a lot of people rate venetian snares, but never got round to checking them out yet - are they quite experimental/glitchy squarepusher-esque stylee? im not really into that :? if theyre a bit like boards of canada, well thats a bit different :)

Yeah, I'd love to pick up some Venetian Snares. Perhaps the only relevant musician/artist from my city these days and I actually don't own any of his stuff. If any releases are hard to find for y'all, I can probably get them and ship them out. Probably.

Rossz is the only one that has the classical element to it, though. If you want stuff thats darker, more ambient, at times evil , go for Doll Doll Doll; if you want more upbeat, kinda jazzy, breakcore-ish stuff get Chocolate Wheelchair; and finally, if you want insanely glitched-up angry hardcore madness get Winnipeg is a Frozen Shithole.

Dream Theater- Octavarium

Pure musical talent harnessed in the form of progressive rock/metal. If you have any appreciation for music, you will at least respect this band, if not love them. These guys are my second favorite band ever; i owe my entire real intrest in music to them.

Venetian Snares got a couple of good songs, but I get bored with 'm pretty quick. After a while every song sounds the same. Ploink zwoop tsjang tsjak whoomp etc. Maybe you should take 'music' like this in small doses?

Maybe you should. I cant see how you can say his stuff is repetitive considering there are almost no loops in it...

I had a listen to the new Morcheeba album "The Andidote" which i think is pretty good but can't compare it to former ones since it's the first of them i heard. There are cool trip hop numbers on it.

Danny the Dog = Unleashed

Everywhere in the world that movie is called Danny the Dog - but us Americans need the dumbed down title. Figures.

I enjoyed the movie a lot, it wasn't the greatest piece of work but still enjoyable. It was far fetched in many ways and I normally don't like Jet Li, but I have a soft spot for pianos. I like how the movie portrayed the power of music.
