Not all is lost in translation but... well... let's just say some of the wording in there that made me laugh out loud!! Or maybe I'm just perverted this morning. ;)
I think it's very interesting that article brought up Pinochet and the goings-on in Chile at the time they were to be there last. It's heavy stuff. Especially in the Chemical world - makes you wonder what they make of it all, as you know they tend to be quiet when it comes to any political talk in the press. Anyway. It makes you wonder if and how often they've bumped into other security issues, in other places. To have a gig cancelled because of the potential for political uprisings is a big deal - I am so glad they get to go to Chile and other parts of South America. I hope to read what they think of that part of the world, as well as gig reviews from fans, of course!
Bring it on, gentlemen! Can't wait for the new record!
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

It's ABSOLUTELY MINDBLOWINGLY MOTHERFUCKINGLY FANTASTIC news!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 :o :o
However, I doubt it will be released in January - probably March or April...coz I'm pretty sure the artwork isn't finished yet, + they need 2-3 months for promotion, so ... :(
don't be so negative when you don't know!! the boys are aiming for january so lets keep them fingers crossed!! they are probably going to keep this album under wraps a bit longer than come with us so no accidents can happen!! we will hear news soon so they have told us twice and all this speculation can end. is it me or is everyone getting nervous about this release!!
I'm a fuckin doughnut

New album is one blessing from heaven, but I also can't wait for the new live show. It is going to be different from the sets they have been playing, and I can't wait to see what kind of new visuals they might have for old favorites. Realistically, since I live in NYC and can't travel because of work, I won't be seeing them in at least a year. My nipples are hard with anticpation for them to tenderize my brain again.

I'm just waiting for that moment, for when I'm in bed, and a song comes on I've never heard before, I sit up and think, is this them, the gods of music, is it? and the DJ says "and that was the new track from the Chemical Brothers". Can't beat that feeling!
