Well, at the moment I think its quite an exciting period of time for a number of reasons. New battle weapons, one off tracks here and there, a big dj date coming and the live tour on the horizen. Apparentally there is shit loads of new tracks, maybe alot is PTB overspill. Just wondering what your fave is out of the new tracks weve herd and how you thing these may evolve:

1. The new intro (playing at the end on the PTB tour).

2. The animal song.

3. The Rock Drill.

4. EBW8

5. EBW9.

My fave has to be EBW8

U know how the Chems almost make those euphoric tracks , like The Test and Surface to Air , The Reel and so on - to me that is one of the main reasons why i love the Chems as much as i do. To hear EBW8 and get that same feeling as i get with those other tracks - That euphoric , no-one can beat me i'm on top of the world kinda feeling , with those drums and synths coming at yah like 'FUCK YEAH' is a very exciting thing.

If an EBW can make me go so ape , what the hell will Chemical 6 do with me ?! My predictions ; Tom and Ed will show the world that those Chemicals are working better than ever!

hmm it's kind of a hard question Acid. To me Spring is a much appreciated track. Quite at some points, relaxing and trippy but after all rocking (electro-beatles style)! EBW 8 comes right after. Jeanie said why. Well then, Giant is another massive and a bit unmentioned song in my opinion. The build-up is similar to Spring with that great synth rising up at three-quarter of the track. It's just magnificent. Because i haven't heard The Animal Song or the new intro yet i can't rate them. I'd love to get a clip of these ones. Do you have some (youTube or anything)?

Where can I found the New Intro and Animal Song ?

I didn't listen it yet !

I just find the reason of the Rock Drill song... And I find it great that Chemical Brothers make things with the art's domaine (sorry again for my poor english :))... This track is more conceptuel than another I think. It's sound like a BGM (is it !). And for the EBW 8 & 9 I just listen them today... And after many listening I prefer the 8th One (for the moment)... Like Jeanie said it's a Euphoric track very special... It's a mix of Surface to Air with Very acid beats like Setting Sun in live... Not the same as "d'habitude" (lol <--- french word)...

Last question, what is Spring track ? A B face of lastest singles ?

The animal song has been floating about for a little while now in the live and dj sets, not sure where bthere is a recording maybe someone can help you out. I think the animal song could be a future killer chems anthem.

Hi Skullo!

It's a B-side release of one of the Believe's singles. Something like Giant or Rize Up on Galvanize singles. . .

My favorite so far is EBW 9. I am a massive fan of the euphoric tracks too and while 'euphoric' applies so well to EBW 8, I get a slightly altered more manic feeling of jubliation when I hear EBW 9. That song kicks me on my butt. It reminds me of the incredible feeling you get when you're in a club or rave and the night's just moved into high gear.

EBW 9 is truly twisted chems side and I love that track for that reason, could have been slightly better but maybe that's not the complete version, either way it sounds good. I can see myself throwing my hands and limbs around at a club to this tune...

And the Rock drill was for an art project they did for the Tate museum in London.

Thanks Den_B! Fantastic track this Intro indeed! The trippy background at the screen behind them is very cool!

And Jeanie, thanks for helping me find these songs. ;-)

New intro is awesome. no doubt.

but didn't ed say back in the ebw posts that the anmial track is on the shelves for now. It's a great track but will we actually see it on 'chemical 6'?

Ebw 8 I can easily see being there ending song for the new tour. will they keep TPPR somewhere in the set though?
