New Order's forthcoming album "Waiting For The Sirens To Call" is to be advertised by the music industry's first ever interactive poster.

The posters, which will be displayed at HMV stores in London and Manchester, will be able to send free music clips, ringtones or wallpapers to fans' mobile phones :o

A user simply activates the infra-red or Bluetooth on their phone and holds it up to the Hypertag. As Hypertags use short-range wireless technologies rather than SMS, the interactions are free to both the advertiser and their fans.

}:-) Can I be just a little bit of an asshole and say that I always thought that all of Joy Division should have been executed after Ian Curtis killed himself, so they wouldn't turn into such popstars?

well, I did say I would be a bit of an ass.... Joy Division was just so... Hard, I guess, hard would be the best adjective I could think of to describe them, as compared to New Order... I've certainly developed an appreciation for New Order that I didn't have back when I was a hardcore Joy Division fan, but that little feeling still lingers a little bit.
