I got involved doing quite a bit for Felix da Housecat. And then, moved my ass to California, and now... I have now started a record label! WHEW!
I would absolutely LOVE to hear what you all have to say about it! Yes, even if it's some of that wonderful ChemForum honesty (ahemBRUTALahem) that I have come to know and love from you all.
We have our Label Launch party (for those of you who aren't my friends on Facebook and don't see all these updates [you know who you are; thank you for taking the onslaught!]) on October 30th in LAS VEGAS! I would love to meet anyone who stops in and hears my artists play! RSVP!
Label Launch Event Facebook and Eventbrite:

(see a theme in these names? haha)
Post what you like or don't like -- let me know your suggestions? It's a really exciting time for me getting this thing off the ground, and I wanted to make sure I shared it with you all...
How the hell is everyone doing???

welcome back. Good luck with your label, you're not the only one amongst us who runs one... keep your head up all you good record label folks out there. It is definitely a hard time and you deserve respect for that decision.
Bring back some life in here, will you?

I believe that I remember you from quite awhile ago. Welcome back!
I'm unsure what happened to Sneaker -- I think he made a few posts some months ago, but that's about all I've seen of him.

I only wish I lived in Southern California--I would come to any of your events at a moment's notice and bring my friends as well.
Best of luck with the label!!
Haven't heard from Sneaks in quite some time, but he pops up when he manages to record a Chems show...
Not sure who else was on here when you were posting that is still on.
The next Chems album will likely bring people back out of the woodwork.
Cheers, man!!

Oh? Do tell... I'd love to support or collab with even, depending on the genres and styles?

So true... new albums ALWAYS bring out the lurkers... but I'm really happy to see that Tom and Ed are continuing to do their thing. (I do so miss the EBW's tho...) they use to just "appear" in the hands of the DJs...

I like the Black Tongues stuff I've heard. Makes me want to head out to Miami. The remixes of La Fiesta are good fun. I purchased a Club Edit that has sirens. When you rave you gotta have sirens, haha! Dert Cheep remix is good also. The beat's solid and it swirls into a gurning hissing monster at a couple of points - which remind me of those times when I was at these parties in old abandoned warehouses, and couldn't tell if the reverb was an affect caused by the music bouncing off walls, or if it was part of the actual recorded music. Or if it was all really going on in my head at that moment.
I think being able to pull off launching a label like this is an impressive feat. I don't know much but I do know that starting something like this and keeping the momentum cannot be an easy task. It's an endeavor people pipe dream about so seeing it put into action is pretty cool. I've been watching it evolve and grow, over what seems like forever - on Facebook and Twitter with posts and updates. It's great to see it all come to fruition and it's even better when it's one of our 'forum's own'. I wish nothing but success.

Let's hope the momentum continues, because you're right - it's definitely not easy. Soooo many phone calls, IM conversations, documents to write up, etc.
But I'm enjoying it. And honestly, that's the best reason of all.
XO for all the support!!
