In the Chemical Brothers, there is music, of course, but visuals also have a big importance !
To me, the best visual is the Acid Children Clown. He seems so evil, his look is so troubling. It realy emerge you into an evil world. I also like Hoops visuals. Rounds, then Mules, then Bugs and finally Seagulls. It's growing like the music is growing to its climax.
Sorry for my bad english :?

Yes, hooray for the Vegetable Visionaries!!!
I'm gonna go with the visuals for Star Guitar. It's like those stars are bursting off the screen and into the air. I also like how the double-face image was turned around so instead, the faces were looking toward each other - and the movement of the image made it look like the faces were kissing. I could just make it out when I saw them live but I was kind of far away. But you can definitely see what I mean on the dvd.
I can't wait for that Evil Clown to own my soul on Saturday night!

The green lasers of GYH blow me away and back again. The blinking eyes of TPPR would be my favourite on-screen visual by far though.
Anyone know exactly what those green lasers are? What machine I mean? They looked very similar to the green lazer that Underworld was using on their last tour, and my experience with the Green Laser during their '02 performance in SF prompted me to proclaim "The Green Laser 0wn5orz j00!!!" They set it to a wonderful, seizure-indicing setting during "Kind of Snake," and during "Dirty Epic" it formed a green halo around Karl's red-lit form. That green laser machine is a magical one...

Now that I've seen the new visuals... it's really hard now to pick a favorite. So now I have favoriteS!
I love that clown even though generally I don't like clowns. hehe. But those visuals made the song a much more intense and sinister experience. Perfect, it owned as much as I thought it would!
Also loved the lips for Come Inside, it was quite sexy and seductive like she was beckoning the audience. How do they match up the lips (and the clown for that matter) to the voice so perfectly - whoever is in charge of that cue, give him a raise!!
The architectural graphs used for Believe were just amazing, and how a graveyard appeared... nice one!
Also really really really loved the Private Psychedelic Reel shots, those stained glass ones - and it just added that extra somethin-somethin to the already religious experience I was having. And those eyeballs looking all over the place... everything I could've wanted and then some because the visuals really helped bring home the experience.
Exploding teapot - just wonderful and awesome and explosive like the song. It was so damn great to be up close enough to really make out the image.
Hoops. When I saw the Chems a few years ago, it was as if those birds flew off the screen and into the air - but that was my brain making that up of course! But at that particular moment in 2002 I thought anything was possible! Then in the tent on Saturday, those birds did fly off the screen and onto the ceiling and walls. Fuckin perfect!!
And I still love the Star Guitar visuals soooo much!

the story behide the teapot is that a lot of 3D designeers use it because it was the first 3D object ever properly rendered.

the green lasers are some very excellent thing on the shows, almost magic. if you are front of stage, seeing them above you and then turn round and all through the hall above the other peoples' heads there's that net and structure of laser... amazing.
i really like believe's visuals as well but favourite big jump's one with the policemen
