I've seen a few covers of chems songs on YT that I don't ever recall seeing here. I thought I'd post them, see if I get positive or negative reaction.

I'd like to see the Klaxons playing All rights reversed. So far (seen em 3 times) they didn't do it.

There's a live versionof Close your eyes performed by the Magic Numbers.

Also I have an unplugged version of Setting Sun by Noel Galhager

He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

The acoustic setting sun is awesome. I have that too. They could release that, without problem. It's actually a pretty nice song when done acoustically.

God, their all chill inducing. They all have the Chem's spirit sung through a different voice, if that makes any sense. It's really awesome! Any other covers people are aware of out there?

I like this one better, even though it's not Noel.

^ that's a great one. Although I'm not sure if he knows the words (or he has some kind of disorder)

(or he's foreign).

There was actually a great cover of Galvanize that was floating around youtube. It was posted here and I'm too lazy and time is too short on my lunch break to go searching. It was an amateur rock band doing a live cover at what looked like one of those battle of the bands type affairs. And though that's not my style music-wise, it was pretty damn good and the crowd were really into it.

Yup, this guy was good. He looks a bit Spanish, doesn't he? Some comments suggest he's not a native speaker.

Here's another cover which is aweful imo as well as their Galvanize cover. Did you mean this band, whirly?

Hey Csar, here's that Galvanize cover I was talking about earlier. Like I said, it's not my type of music - the vocals border on cookie monster black metal garble in some parts - but for an amateur rock band I think they did a really good job and I love how the crowd gets all riled up during the "world... the time has come to... push the button" bits. I also think the song done in this style says something about Galvanize's versatility (ie it's pushes beyond just being a typical 'dace' song).

I don't know. It's all just opinions at the end of the day. I dig it. Much respect to a rock band taking the risk of incorporating their own style and covering a song dong by electronic artists.

Noel Gallagher used to play Setting Sun in the acoustic part of Oasis concert during the 1998 tour.

I think it could be sung a tiny bit faster. Anyways, I'm loving the sitar sounds. Sitar is such a great instrument.

@Csar

That BRB bass cover is probably one of the best chems covers on youtube. The same guy also does "Lost In The K-Hole". http://www.youtube.c...h?v=lz3za3j4zFg

Yup, that one's classic. I think it's been around here too somewhere.

Found this interesting video. Not a cover actually but nicely done imo:
