M83 is on par with Sigur Ros--very beautiful, very intense, and very draining.

I picked up Before the Dawn Heals Us and it's epic, indeed, and I apply the same standard to it that I do when choosing to listen to Sigur Ros: I need to prepare myself, and be in the right frame of mind before listening. It's not a casual listen by any means.
