i agree hip hop can be good. there is a big difference between the good stuff and the eminem and ja rule style rubbish that in my mind is just as marketed as the boy bands. aimed squarley at middel class, white, twelve year olds basically. i've tried to explain this to my friends who just giggle and quote "nobody listens to techno..."

Techno is just another generalization made by people who got no idea about that kind of music anyway.
