Top 5 Epic End Of The Night Songs

(not in order, for me)
1. M83 - Highway of Endless Dreams (to be fair, there are at least three other M83 tracks that are on par)
2. Freeland - Mancry
3. Underworld - Born Slippy
4. Orbital - Halcyon + On + On
5. Soulwax - The Truth Is So Boring
Admittedly, this topic is similar to a previous one, and will inevitably spawn another conversation about the definition of "epic," but it's the end of the night and I've got at least three of these going on in my head right now.
Keep chillin'.

Watching those nights turn into days are more or less a thing of my past. But I used to listen to Air's Virgin Suicides soundtrack after a night out. Whether or not it's epic is debatable, but I sure enjoyed it for those moments. There's a warm, womb-like quality to the music that eases you down so gently. It would be playing softly on my stereo, and I'd step onto my patio having my tea and a cigarette, watching the stars fading in the sky while the world still slept. Those are some good memories for me.
I also like anything on A Strangely Isolated place by Ulrich Schnauss. The Chems remix of I Think I'm In Love is also good.

And you still have these tracks for your life right now.
OK OK, you should have been specific, haha!! When I see "epic" and "end of night songs" in the same sentence I think come-down, chilling out after a rough night of dancing, watching the sun come up and knowing I'm going to be feeling a bit crispy around the edges for the next 24 hours.
Songs that highlight the moment of an endless good time...?
Don't know. There's a shitload given all the endless good times I've had over the years...

Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

That's my hangover cure. It's amazing but isn't an epic, end of set, track.

Fatboy Slim - Song For Shelter
Shinichi Osawa - Star Guitar (Japanese Popstars Remix)
The Chemical Brothers - Electronic Battle Weapon 10 (really any EBW will do)
Underworld - Rez
Fluke - Atom Bomb (Atomix 4)
would all make excellent grand finale tracks.

SMD - "System"
Underworld - "Big Mouth" or "Moaner"
Deadmau5 - "16th Hour" or "Strobe"
Undisputed Truth - "Ball of Confusion (That's What the World is Today)" (maybe)

A few great suggestions already too, anything by Ulrich Schnauss is great particularly 'Love Movement', I have come home after many a mad night to this : (Nice one Whirly on the Ulrich suggestion)...this is my fave of his:
As for a top 5 (that didn't count by the way..) here are mine:
1) The Verve - Weeping Willow (Off one of the greatest albums of all time)

3) 2020 Soundsystem - Closure (LOVE THIS, so much power and energy, perfect to start or finish...or to peak..hell its perfect!) http://www.youtube.c...h?v=nNAoKGNRWi0

Alex Dolby - Hazy Ways (Evil Nine Remix)
Evil Nine closed it out with this in 05 when I saw them. Only about 50 people left at that point but it was massive.
Gogol Bordello - Baro Foro
Proof at Fuji rock 08
Every time (3) I've seen them they end it on this and it erupts
Orbital - Dr. Who / Chime
Still want to see this live one day.
Shinichi Osawa - Our Song
Primal Scream - Come Together
Not the weatherhall version that everyone seems to be in love with. I like this one with the horns at the end. There is a longer version of it but I couldn't find it.
In terms of chill out type songs....
LCD Soundsystem - Someone Great (Insturmental 45:33)
Little Dragon - Twice
Jay Electronica - Eternal Sunshine
Cinematic Orchestra - All Things To All Men
Goldfrapp - White Soft Rope
The Private Psychedellic Reel-to-Reel
