We are officially a week away from their first Australian show and the continuation of their epic 2011 world tour! The countdown begins (again)!
Jumping the gun a bit? It's a week tomorrow until their first show.
Further Remixed There's nothing else...

"says Ed Simons - the more normal looking half of the Chemical Brothers" ... wtf!
"By that he means the fact every song had its own video-cum-film." ... double wtf! Is there an X rated version of Further that I missed?

What a strangely worded interview. It wasn't necessarily bad, but proclaiming their first 2 albums as being their best, or saying K+D+B is not an easy listen is better suited to an op ed rather than an interview. I don't understand the whole Ed is the normal looking guy, but Tom is not? What..? Such a weird observation.
For us forum people who monitor the Chems every move there's no earth shattering revelations in the interview, but I like what Ed said about how their old tracks are integrated with their new material. And it's always nice to hear it directly from the source that Tom and Ed still enjoy working together after all this time.

I conveniently have the week off from work the chems play on (since on a weeknight) Can't wait. Hopefully next week won't be long and painful before then. Hell yes!
Any melbournians on here keen to meet up if you're going?

Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.

Sirbagalot hasn't given any indication which shows he's going to yet, but I'll meet up if your keen. I haven really met anyone from this forum before so that would be nice! Do you have facebook MIKL?
By the way look at the date I joined this forum... The show will be exactly 6 years since I've joined (even though I've only made 600 odd posts) it's a nice anniversary to be part of such a lovely community!

Yeah Kwiddle, just started a facebook profile late last year (finally gave in to the pressure)
Its: facebook.com/MichaelMcKenzieDesigner
Cool, would be nice to meet other chems fanatics, I don't think I've come across any fans as big as I am in my social circles until I've started doing this forum. Any other regulars here, dont be shy...
