Another track identified!!!

The song from 26:26 to 35:40 is John Bender - You Put These Things Inside My Head.

From 1978!

30sec preview from a music vendor's site (it's nowhere on Youtube).

This website looks semi-sketchy, but the album can be bought here for a really low price.

Grooveshark shut down because it was too expensive to maintain, looks like. :-(

Another bump by ryno

I've wanted to figure out these tracks for a long time now. I finally gave in and went for a hunt on them. As always, I am quite suprised by what Tom pulls out of the couch with weird obscure '70s era electronic acts. Now I still can't tell what the track(s) are between 2:23 - 10:30. They sound like the same parts are repeated throughout making me think it is one track. Here is what I can conclude.

0:00 Elektriktus - Electronic Mindwaves - Second Wave
2:23 - 10:30 Unknown
10:30 - 26:26 Franco Battiato - Sequenze e Frequenze
26:26 - 35:40 John Bender - You Put These Things Inside My Head
35:40 - 37:28 Deuter - Le Ciel Est Bleu
37:28 - 28:54 Deuter - Singing Bells (Romantic Meditation)
38:54 - 41:18 The Beatles - Flying

I particularly like the Deuter - Le Ciel Est Bleu track for the YouTube video with the harmonica part at the start

Oh yeah, I think Jamal/Gypster pointed it out a while ago while talking about Four Tet. He said something along the lines of Four Tet and the Chems having a lot of the same equipment and that led me to believe for the longest time that the part in the Psychtronic mix was something original by The Chems that Four Tet had either replicated perfectly or sampled. That was before Ryno found that, so it was a sample after all.

Speaking of Jamal/Gypster, what happened to that guy? He hasn't logged in for ages, he just disappeared in the middle of the FurtherRemixed project. Hope he's alright.
