Btw, could this be beyond a "regular" concert movie? You know, not just track after track. Maybe it has sort of a "storyline"? Some images, like the little robot strolliing around , the clowns and that babe on acid suggest that there's a bit more behind it rather than a simple concert recording.

I'm guessing both parties agreed to do a live film because it's going to have a theatre release, so it'll be bigger and equally important it's in Adam Smith's direction, so it should be something much more brilliant than the run of the mill concert movie. I wonder if that trailer stuff will actually be in the film, might just be a teaser like they had fror the Singles DVD (if you can remember those commercials).

That trailer is all sorts of awesome. Like what Biff said, this certainly doesn't look like your typical run of the mill music film. Very intriguing.
