The Vines - Autumn Shade
Their debut album is full of great, little tunes such as this one, a melancholy dirge about the autumn and finding motivation, or some such drivel. Beautiful melody, perfect little fills, and impeccable recording and production.
In fact, this entire album (their debut) is one of the best sounding albums I've ever listened to. Every drum hit is perfectly placed and has a great "feel", every guitar line slashes across perfectly, while the bass rumbles with both melody and purpose. This album is an example of how to record a band in a studio. Maybe a little too perfect, even, but the tunes back it up.

Radiohead - You Never Wash Up After Yourself
Such a sad, beautiful little song.
Radiohead - Creep (acoustic)
Better acoustic, if you ask me, and brings back London memories. Although his vocal performance is better on Pablo Honey, I love the strummed acoustic.
----
My Iron Lung EP is a great pickup, shame I never listen to it very often.

You know me, I'm your friend, Your main boy, Thick and thin
I'm your pusherman,

Joslyn Escribi:
Royksopp - What else is there (Thin white duke remix)
You can't blink your eyes and Stuart Price is on it, but it all sounds good.
Can't say I'm a fan of this remix, imo it sounds so commercial! Much prefer the elegant but eery original.

Radiohead - Optimistic
Love this tune. Swampy guitars drive on a sardonic mantra that the "best you can is good enough". Johnny Greenwood, as always, finds interesting guitar tones. The funky little outro makes me want to dance and I wish there was an extended version where the outro gets explored at length.
Kid A has never been one of my favourite albums even though I love it and its a classic, but it has an undeniable flow to it. A prime example of how to make an album feel conceptual without making a concept album.
