The forecast for this years Creamfields is set to be hot hot hot! Lets forget about the now and look to the future, and the future is August the 15th when the heat wave set to commence!

It has just been announced that the UK is going to be having a heat wave, just in time for the UK's biggest dance festival Creamfields. So clubbers can throw out their wellies and macks and search at the bottom of their draws for the long lost shorts and flip flops.

Sources tell us that the clouds are set to clear on August the 15th, 10 days before the huge event, which will give everyone a chance to top up the tan, for the most important date in the calendar the 25th of August.

This years festival sees the amazing Chemical Brothers headlining the main stage, joined by the striking Kelis who’s Milkshake will now be bringing the ‘sun’ to the yard. Groove Armada who bring sunshine what ever the weather will also be on the headline bill along with the outrageously cool Mark Ronson who is popping his Creamfields cherry and the electronic superstars LCD Soundsystem.

Just got outa bed still recovering from creamfields. The festival was very cool with an awesome line up. I know i'm not a regular poster on this forum, but i have been a huge fan for years so this is my offering of a review.

The highlight of the night was the chems (of course). I saw them already in may at the roundhouse so I'd seen most of the show before, but that is by no means a bad thing. They only had an hour and 15mins so they kept to their well known tracks. I love that intro 'there's no path to follow'. It's funny; it takes a while for people to figure out whats going on. They played galvanise, burst generator, do it again, hey boy hey girl, out of control, we are the night, saturate, all rights reversed, star guitar, believe, surface to air, now im stuggling to remember coz im getting mixed up with the london gig. The music just kinda all blurs, i love it. Its not about the individual tunes with the chems its the whole thing-magic.

I love the images to believe, the religious link makes me smile! That tiger as well, really fits to the music. I cant wait for trafalga square, what kind of visual feast are we in for?

I guess i love it more when they play their unknown stuff from the albums, but it wasnt the right audience last night. That is the one complaint i do have, the audience!!!!!!!! I dont know if I was just stood in the wrong place, but apart from one or 2 maniacs like me dancing and going mad, people just didnt seem that into it. Maybe its stuff their not used to, but they didnt even get an encore. Even thought they were the last on that night they finished 11 on the dot and that was that. I guess you cant win em all, but to not even jump when hey girl hey boy came on????? I wasnt even that far back from the stage.

There was no way that gig would've topped the roundhouse, but it is always a pleasure to see them live, and i am now even more excited about trafalga square. I'm still waiting to hear a modern midnight conversation live, that would make me very happy. Was kinda surprised they didnt play the salmon dance considering its their new single, maybe they were saving that for the encore that never came!

Other hightlights of the night; groove armada, carl cox (legend), 2manydjs (first time but thoroughly enjoyed, they even played saturate at the end - which the crowd loved), felix da housecat, and sven vath was amazing.

Thanks so much Thandeka. :) I am glad you and the 2 maniacs had a great time dancing at the gig. There's always gotta be the dancing maniacs, can't have a show without them. I wish other people would have followed suit. I wonder what was wrong with the rest of the crowd? Ah well, no use dwelling. As long as you got something out of it, then that's all that counts!

Trafalgar... now Trafalgar. I have a really good feeling that show is gonna go off like no other!
