Heya, jOs - I don't see why you can't submit whatever you please. I don't think it needs to be forum specific as there is no theme, really. Just bring on what you want and see what sticks. Right now the plans for the next forum cd are in the embryonic stages and nothing is set in stone yet.

OK - now that people are wanting to know where to submit stuff, who is the go-to person? Who's going to take on the mixing and mastering this time around? anType, you up for phase 2 of the forum series?

Right,
another thing we should do is to define a term-time for submit the stuff and another to complete everything... ;-)

I can just imagine it now......
After last years community 2 cd on New orders website I could see hundreds of songs for submissions with many bad remixes and bad covers......yah I'll just keep my dreams to my own head.
yah spring might be a little tough to get some tracks done on my part. I still have to relearn everything on my cubase and reason programs. summer is a better bet

we could send it to be mastered proper at a mastering facility after it's been mixed
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

The tracks will need pre-mixing mastering, to make sure the levels and EQs of the tracks sit right. Post-mix mastering is a bit of a luxury for an amateur project :P

heh. I think I might have a go at a minimal/acid/electro/hip-hop track. I've got a good friend who spits some lyrics and I like an every-style-but-the-kitchen-sink look at music anyways.
The fact that I've barely any idea at all what I'm doing is somewhat irrelevant.
