Hi to you all!



I`m a big chemical brothers-fan from Germany and I want to tell you something about my home:



I live in Luebeck which is a city in the northern part. Here in Luebeck we`ve got a place for alternative culture. There are people who are trying to live on their own, far away from the mainstream and a capatilistic system. At that place there is a also a vegetarian cafe, a pretty cool pub and a concert room. A lot of bands doing there gigs and a lot of people are coming to the Alternative, which is called "walli", to see them and to have a good time during the week and especially at the weekend. Also there are working some political groups at the "walli". They critizises the parties and about what they are doing, they organizes demonstrations and do actions and so on. At all the walli exists for 25 years till now. But in April this year the government of Luebeck (it is a conservative party) decided to end up the contract which the walli to stay at this place. Now the walli started a big campaign that they want to stay there. For the campaign there`s a website at www.walli-bleibt.de There you can get the latest news about the walli and get information about demonstrations and so on. And you can do your signature there to show you solidarity. So if you want to please check out the walli-website at www.walli-bleibt.de

So, here`s how you can do your signature for the Walli:

Go to the website www.walli-bleibt.de. At the left there`s the menu of the website, please click at "download". At that site you can see the list which you can print out and do your signature at. Just click on the list ("unterschriften.pdf") to download it. You can open the file with the Acrobat Reader. The list is in german language but it is very easy to understand. If you have printed it, just fill in your name and your adress and do a signature. If you want to you can fill in what a job you gonna do (studying, working...) and write your eMail-adress in to get more information about the walli and demonstrations etc. But that is not necessary if you won`t give that information about you. If you have done your signature please ask friends or family to do also their signature. On one list is space for 15 people to sign. Of course it is not necessary to make a list toally full but it would help ;-) So, if you have a full list or you have some signatures and want to give it back, feel free to send me a mail ben-ho@gmx.net and I will give you a adress where you can send the list to.
