Still waiting for life to be sweet on my end. The possibility for the new apartment has now swung back in the direction of my favor, and I'm waiting for them to clear a co-signer. I'll know in the next day or two. Hopefully day. This has been a source of stress that I don't need, and don't completely know how to deal with.
My intuition tells me everything will work out okay, and there are some great music shows coming up in the near future. The Twelves @ Mezzanine a week from tomorrow, Soulwax @ Hardfest a week after that, and then, of course, The Chems in Oakland and possibly Hollywood at the end of next month.
Yeesh--another gray day here in SF, though. Gotta love this city in the summertime--it gets less sun than in the wintertime. Seriously.
More biking. 23 miles yesterday, hopefully 25 today, but we'll have to see. Don't know what else to do right now, so I just... fucking... bike... And listen to Further. Still absolutely LOVING THE SHIT out of Escape Velocity. God damn that track gets me so high.
Oh yeah, if anyone is interested, this is the hill I biked up yesterday: L I N K If you turn around in the street view, you'll get a better sense of how f*cking steep that is. It's actually less steep than some other hills I've biked up previously on the north side of town.
Glad the ball is rolling for you again Poot! Its the same here with the weather, but I embrace the gloom.
No shows for me until the Chems come to town, though the 'Rock the Bells' show has a legendary line-up, but most of my friends are not fans of the old school hip hop.
That hill is insanely steep! I like the view when you look down from the hill on the Google street view.
...come to think of it, That view reminds me of a similar picture I saw years ago!
Here it is Pooter. This is what your bike hill (looking down) on 17th street used to look like....in 1906
Just kidding Poot!
This pic actually took place on Sacramento Street during the earthquake in SF! Just look at the carnage!
