Song to the Siren
two little birdies
Chicos Groove
Leave Home
In Dust We Trust
sunshine underground
Under The Influence(full version)
Orange Wedge
Let Forever Be(full version with mixed up vocals)
Come With Us

Hmm. I can understand some people would find it nice if they brought back a few classic live stormers and maybe dug some older tracks out, but they work with data files and from what I understand, they pick and choose which ones they take on tour with them. Someone in Australia during a live chat asked Ed if they'd play Morning Lemon and he said said the files for that song were back home, and they couldn't. Plus, I would think they've worked hard on obtaining a certain flow for their sets that might be disrupted if they suddenly started throwing in a bunch of songs that weren't there before. I don't know the logisitcs of them dragging every single file they have on tour with them, but the recent slew of gigs is to promote Push The Button, not past albums. Personally I think they should keep all the new songs they've been playing - there's going to be plenty of people attending for the first time this tour... or ever.
Just by hearing and reading what people have written about the gigs, there have been a few moderate changes from the promo tour (Latin America, some shows in the UK) to the full blown Push The Button tour.
I'm fairly certain the Chems care what their fans think and want out of the live gigs, and do what they can to shake up their sets a little bit so there's some variation... I'm sure for their sake they'd keep things somewhat varied and fresh, keep things interesting for them as well. Can't wait to hear what the Marley gig is like!
Just my take. :)

I think part of it is also simply the logistics of how the Chems do their live shows. The limitations of the equipment, the unforgivingness of non-4/4 songs (about half the set) to improvisation, and the fact that almost all Chemical Brothers songs, even the "simple" 4/4 ones, have very complex sonic elements that require a large amount of data. All this ties their hands, but they are certainly doing more variation within their limitations now than they have done in the past.
On the other hand, if you look at Underworld, whose songs a) are structured more simply, b) consist of simpler sonic elements, and c) for the most part, of the exact same BPM (139), they are capable of a lot more freedom in terms of setlist, song structure, and improvisation. I doubt if any two Underworld gigs have had the same setlist or the exact same treatment of a song. As much as I love the Chems, I must say that I have a higher regard for Underworld when it comes to making electronic music truly *live.*

Firstly, I agree with Shan to some extent. I have only seen them live once but have heard the set endless times (which is a great set might I just add!!) but yes I agree, I will be disappointed if they stick to the same setlist for Marley Park. I think I'd feel a bit ripped off after paying ?50 to see them again. However, having said that, I'd still have a ball if they played the same setlict. I would like to hear..Setting Sun, Denmark, It began in Africa, Come with us, Asleep from day and most importantly...I'd like to see them drop Star Guitar&Private Psychedelic Reel..really didn't like them live.
Crotor..I've heard a few sets of Underworld live and they've blown me away, I've never actually seen them live but already have my ticket for this gig on the 20th. (amazed B.Jaxx r headlining tho') I have to say, much as I am a Chems fan, I do think that Underworld's live set has impressed me that little bit more also., albeit a tiny bit more! Haven't bought my Chems ticket yet so here'e hoping they won't sell out!!

agree with all the points made by all , and its probably down to the fact of playing there new stuff out(wich they have worked hard the last few years getting together) , and probably not wanting to play the older stuff plus not having there older stuff with them but with a gig here last summer and then this year already , and now they are playing the end of this summer , thats 3 gigs in 'dublin' in a year . Dont get me wrong , the fact that they were here even once in a year is unheard of in most cases and im delighted they are here so regularly(and im not the only one if anyone saw the point and how busy it was), but id just love to hear them vary the setlist a little .
also , it just goes to show how good there back catalogue is when they dont play AFRIKA and the likes of sunshine undcerground(i know sunsine would probably kill the flow of what there sets consists of but maybe thats not a bad thig) . Any other dance act/band/group etc would finish with AFRIKA , the chems dont feel the need to play it anymore ! hats off ..
anyway , ill be at the marley park gig no matter what there set list is :)
