Right, well as ya probably alredy know i went and seen coldplay yesterday and it was good but i mean the story im about to tell is wicked..and if you dont wanna read and comment then thats fine go away..:P



Anyway we were all set from yesterday mornin to go to the show n sht.. and id packed my mp3, my cassette player and my gameboy for the 2and a half hour journey we were in for! Me My bro.. his girl my mom and her friend..



the trip was so far so good we even got a mc donalds..woop.. then when we were on our way onto the next town.. the midpoint in the journey to dublin ......bad luck stuck upon us!...car broke down...NOOO! we got out and we hadnt a clue what the hell was wrong so we just looked about and give it a push eventually and it still didnt work.. some local dude give us a charge.. then we were on our way.. still not knowin the problem.. just we thought it was the battery down or something.. we got to dublin..WOOP!.. and we were looking for this road that brings us to marley park.. the m50...we didnt find it and we just foll0owed on the m1 into dublin city.. and then.. in the middle of a carriage way at about 4 pm in the day.. dublin is a big enuf wee city so.. it was rush hour.. and our car....NOOOO..broke down... in the middle of dublin...how embarasin...and into the bargin, we had to push it off the road..all 5 of us.. what a day.. and the gates opened in 1 hour...



so...sitttin there shit scared about missin the concert(were all n00bies) and how we are gonna get home.. we get one of the members of the party to go get help(SENDIN OUT AN SOS) we kick bk in the car and eat some munchiez then a mechanic came back and said our car was fucked until tomorrow morning (TODAY) so were just like..omfg...no...how the hell...are we gonna see coldplay and get home.. we cant stay.. cause everyone had something to do for tomorrow..cept me.. i dono why.. Anne my moms friend had her daughter mindin her kids and my mom had some presentation and my bro and his gf had to go to amsterdan.. so were sittin in dublin with a shit recked car concert gates open in 30 mins and we are just stressed..cept me..donon why.. so we took the stuff we needed.. like some drinks.. and my mp3 player and that was all we stuck the rest in the boot of the car.. and left my bro and his gf at the bus station to get the bus home.. so bye bye 2 ticket5s..



we had 4 tickets with us and 1 to collect.. gates to the concert had opened and we wer still in town centre.. o'connel bridge, if anyone knows it.. andwe had to look for buses and hostels n all within about 30mins..so runnin about dublin.. not used to the high tempo didnt really help either.. we found a hostel and were so relieved and decideed to get a private taxi to the place so we relaxed in our dormintory.. and there wer these 3 forigners and one of the 3 of us..had to sleep in the bunk above one of them.. and the 2 maturer women of our crowd elected me.. IM ONLY 15!??! ITS TOO EARLY TO GET RAPED!!.. there were 2 girls and a guy.. i was above this guy.. they were cool enuf.. i got to know them.. they hardly spoke a word of english and i was using all this belfast slang.. and teaching them new stuff it was fun.. now we had to go.. we went and got money i forgot my mp3 player and ran bk n got it.. and then we got the taxi



Almost at rafarnham..excitment building but my mom was freakin incase we got caught with the mp3 player..im just like fuckin relax.. and shes like FUCK U!! UR GONNA SPOIL THE WHOLE FUCKIN NIGHT GIMME THE MP3 PLAYER.. in the taxi this was all happenin the taxi man was sound enuf..old too.. and he was kinda freakin out and almost pullin it off me.. i just said.. here know what it is? no..fuck off.. so everything calmed after that :D



we got out of the taxi and it charged 21.95 euros which wasnt that bad i think.. we were lookin to sell 2 tickets..and to our luck..first all day!! 2 people were looking tickets and we sold them for 60 euros each .. as soon as we got out of the taxi.. YES!!



then we were goin into the park.. funny enuf.. i never got searched or nethin i just walked in.. and they didnt do nethin whatso ever.. got our ticket everything! and we went in and mellowed in the crowd..

Right just letting you know.. my pc is broke..so thats why i cudnt like tell you it all on the same day.. im in my mates now ill tell you what happened..



Ok.. when we got into marley park.. it was good i was just looking around n stuff and then we went to the burger stand.. theyre was a ps2 place.. were you could play games.. a bouncy jumping thing were u cud do backflips, a food court, a massive stage, and a bar.. HEINEKIEN! it was really big.. and thats wer we went to second.. theyre was no one playing at the time.. well i dont think theyre was.. im not sure it was just music cudnt really see the stage i was a the very back of the whole park.. got a pint ( i alredy had a can of carlsberg, at the hostel) then we got a pint..chilled out.. had our pints.. garda never said anything.. musta thought i looked 18 8)



Then when we found out coldplay wer comin on in 10minutes we rushed over to the bar like everyone else and got 2 more pints.. then when they came on we were in the middle of the park looking up and we cudnt see nethin we were tryin to down our pints and move up.. my mom said..OK JOE>...HURRY UP AND DRINK THOSE.. im like...erm..ok.. GULP GULP.. yoink..boink..skadoodal.. and i was done.. anne and my mum still hadnt finished so we waited on them and they eventually finished while i recorded it all :D we moved through everyone whilst i was off my head (lightweight style ;-) ) and then we got far enuf up so we cud see them and my mum was like..Ueueh i feel costaphobic im going to go.. im like ughm whauha? no dont go..dont leave me! NOoO I gotta go she says.. then im like ummm ok.. so she says to some guy i didnt know.. WILL YOU LOOK AFTER MY SON!! THANKSS!!



So im in the middle of the crowd... on my own.. drunk.. and just dancin neway all the way thru.. listenin to coldplay.. it was classs! just dancin on ur own drunk in dublin! and then when they went off stage i made a new friend! i said to some guy..here, is that that then? he said.. no..they'll be back on..just taking a break.. He was called eamon and he was from cork and he was 25.. well sweet.. so i said when a good song comes on we go apeshit he was sound enuf so he said ok



last song.. FIX YOU.. we went crazy together and then i got his number.. which was a wrong number :P... and he said he might be at the chems gig in august at marlwey and if he was.. he'd get me drink :P but i was drunk i just said YEO SWEEt.. so we went to the gate.. i said later.. then realised... i neeeded my mummy.. so i sat about looking for her.. and i cudnt find her so i went to the toilet and took a pish.. then went about the park then they found me and we dandered round and got a bus.. i was snottered i was nearly dead.. then we got into dublin city.. i was still wearin my ireland flag.. and people were going YEOO! everytime they seen me.. so i took it off.. then we went and got food and went to the hostel which was so sht cause i had such a sore head n all..



All in all.. it was good.. you had to be there.. not only cause it was amazing.. cause i had no one to dance with :-// :P

I really like A Rush of Blood to the Head (honestly a top, top album), but wouldn't go out of my way to see them, nor am I likely to buy any of their other albums.

Its cool if you dont like coldplay i was only writing it for those who do like them though.. plus for anyone who is going to the 19th of august chems gig in marley park it would be good to write about this gig because its in the same place..

The stage is really big and you need to be real close to see the people on it..
