I am often stuck at work late. It's like the trade off I have for basicly surfing the internet 8 hours a day, that occasionally, I have to actually stay late and DO WORK.
It sucks, but it's the trade off.
Except for fridays.
I cannot fucking stand working late on friday nights. They're cutting into the tiny amount of time I have every week to actually spend with my family.
So, since even with overtime, they cannot pay me enough for these precious hours, I'm going to start selling second hand office equipment on E-Bay. Cheap.
Anyone need a stapler, pencil sharpener or HP Laserjet 4300 printer?

I'm in printing. I'm a typesetter, actually, which is all done on computers now, so it's a lot like coding HTML, but what I do specifically, the reason I make teh big bucks, is I make changes for clients while they're actually here in the office.
It's like, some giant, corrupt corporation wants to falsify it's earnings reports, so they come in here, change a bunch of numbers around, check them out, see if they look ok, if they'll get them all arrested, change em to some different numbers, repeat, etc.
It's boring, but it's good money, and I get to spend all day reading and surfing the internet when they're not here.

AC Doyle... that sounds really familiar... what's he written?
I read between 300-500 pages a day, depending on how dense the text is... I read the Neil Stephenson Baroque Trilogy, that was about 1,000 a book, took me around a week for each of them, but there were exceedingly dense... I finished harry potters last one in about 2 days.
