"Got my tickets in the mail today, was very very happy to get them... then I took a look at them only to be surprised by an unwanted "Must be 18 + with ID" on it... bah, either going to have to not go or go with my "fake 18" plan."

You should try contacting Errol, maybe he could help you with your age problem.

I know Busy P and Justice have been known to help people out with the same situation, via myspace.

Anyone got any good hotel suggestions? I'm going to try and reserve something this weekend some time.

mentioned earlier, but check out the lisle, naperville, wheaton, lombard area out on priceline, hotwire, or travelocity ... should be cheaper rates that in the city. but check there too, just in case.

I have to double check on the car situation, but if you pick a place off of I55 south, then I should be able to give ya a lift. Let me know where you end up staying.

If Errol were to somehow help me out with this 18+, that would be great, otherwise I'm just going to have to do my illegal plan which I might as well say here since it has a 50/50 chance of working:

I have no proof of age on any ID I have. The only ID that could make it seem I'm 18+ is my college ID, so I plan on just using that to try to get in. I really have no idea if it even has a remote chance of working, but I might as well try.

I need to wait about another ten days until I have all my course outlines for school. Since it looks like my new bank is going to come through for me big time, if I'm not missing much in school, I may just be able to swing this after all, if there are still tickets available then.

Still a pretty small chance but better than zero.

Like I say, the chances are very very small, but it's remotely possible. Gotta wait until I have all my course outlines.

1st Post - Lodging Info...

I'm coming to town for the show and was looking for place to stay that is close to the venue.

I found a Days Inn on Diversey and Neighborhood Inns of Chicago on Belmont.

Both are within 3 miles of the club.

Anybody know anything about either of these two places?

Thanks!

The countdown has begun......

Im still up in the air with booking a room, yet. (still got that free stay at Days Inn)

Where has Chemicalreaction gone? He's been absent for awhile now. I'm kinda interested in what he has planned so far...

By the way, is there any post-game action going on, as well (that is if we can still walk)? or is everyone leaving right after the concert?

Like I mentioned in my other post,I might be staying at the Days Inn as well. But from what I heard that particular Days Inn has won a bunch of awards for being the best Days Inn chain or something like that. Plus the pictures on the website make it look like its pretty nice.

Bosco-Thanks for the update. I think the Days Inn will work just fine. My buddy and I are taking a cab from the airport and want to be pretty close to the club. It also allows for post-show action in the neighborhood.

This will be my sixth time to see 'em and I'm probably more excited than I was the first time.

Maybe we'll cross paths before, during or after the show.

Thanks again!
