Ok, i always thot these guys were just too dated n hyped and never really bothered to check em out. Cause I check out some vague kraftwerk and primal scream, n was not too happy bout what i'd expected, listenin to some "roots" electronic people.
but i discovered this crazy song called talisman recently on the go soundtrack by this band, n i'm humbled as usual.
pls tell me they've got more stuff like this, cause talisman cuts me up, so fuckin deep!
reccos! on similiar amazin vibe!

I absolutely love Air.
They have a definite style that's easily identifiable, but all their albums are a different journey. What I dig so much about Air is that their music takes you to a different place.
I'd say all their albums are great, very streamlined and cohesive. My favorites are the Virgin Suicides score because it's blissfully dark and haunting, but I'm also quite fond of Talkie Walkie too which is one of those albums that lets you stop what you're doing and take life in. But then there's Moon Safari which is really really good... hmmm... I do like 10,000 hz Legend but it seems a bit less streamlined than the others. It's still good, but very quirky. For Air, the quirk works in their favor. I dig them so much.

Vagabond....1st track of Moon Safari, don't be light....saw them in concert and did not dissapoint, }:-) (!)
That's not 'Moon Safari' but '10.000 Hz Legend', their second album.
If you want Talisman and songs like it buy Moon Safari and the Premiers Symptones mini album.

I know, French is a difficult language, so here is an help : "Premiers Symptomes" ;-)
10.000Hz Legend is my favourite Air album. Maybe because Don't be light is my favourite Air song... And Electronic Performers is a great track too... Anyway every track by them is good !

It's harder when you've been drinking! X-D
Yeah, even for us
I've just remember I bought a promo cd with 2 live tracks : Dirty Trip and Don't be Light... Really, really, really really good :D It was definitely worth the 1.50€ I paid for it... Even 5€ would have been a good price

Yeah, got that one too. It has the same cover as 10.000 Hz Legend.

Moon Safari is probably one of my favourite chill-out albums of all time(refer to my 'Best Chill-out albums of all-time' topic waaay back when hehe). Every song on there is an anthem, tracks like La Femme d'argent and Talisman are just stunning.
I love Talkie Walkie as well, for me its kind of a personal album, some songs seem that way even though I'm not sure why...maybe I'll find out in time. I love how the album goes from the bleepy quirkyness of Run to the slick delicacy of Universal Traveller, great album.
As for 10 000 hz Legend, I just didn't get it tbh, maybe I should give it a few more listens.
I really should check out their other stuff...
