My own recent mix CD:
Radiohead: Planet Telex
Primal Scream: Slip Inside This House
Coldplay: Daylight
U2: Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me
Marilyn Manson: Tourniquet
Bush: Cold Contagious
Copyright: Rock Machine
Nine Inch Nails: Just Like You Imagined
Radiohead: The National Anthem
Massive Attack: Safe From Harm
The Smiths: What Difference Does It Make?
Radiohead: You
Radiohead: Where I End And You Begin
Smashing Pumpkins: Love
Primal Scream: Keep Your Dreams
Massive Attack: Dissolved Girl
U2: Discotheque (new mix)
A few great songs by dodgy bands (Coldplay, Marilyn Manson, Bush, anyone?), but really a great, cohesive mix unified around the strength of the bass guitar and good riffs. Carries a great rollercoaster feel for 80 minutes. Far and away my best mix tape, even if too much Radiohead.
