Well, UNKLE is actually more James Lavellle's project and he tagteamed with Shadow on the first album. The second album is Shadow-less.

Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head (album)

Been listening to nothing but bangers: deebee and acid house for me lately.

Makes the beautiful-sounding, effeminate wankers sound that much more pretty. Very enjoyable inoffensive listening. Loving it.

:D

Nope, the track title came from the fact that I binned the first mix of the song about 4 weeks before the deadline!

It was done because I wasn't satisfied, I couldn't get the arrangement to sound good, and a lot of the sounds were crappy too. I knew what I wanted it to sound like, and it seemed easier to start from a fresh.

That is such a weird feeling when that happens - sort of a tapestry of emotion that invades the senses. One of frustration, anger, sadness, then finally a feeling of content once you put it behind you and move on.

I have so many tracks I've ditched because I overworked them or got writer's block or even because they conjured up an unpleasant memory (like when working with that friend of mine went downhill). Giving your ears a break and going back a year or 2 later can be interesting, though!

Very true. I enjoy going back over lyrics and poetry I've written from a while back. I've been too busy to write much recently, but a few of the old ones still resonate quite a bit. Some I'm really impressed with. A lot I come to realize are shite, though. :D

He don't need no music sheets,
but with a snip-snip-snippy-snip
gave his mop a chop,
Old man hairstyles are a flop.
