Free (the best french ISP) just presented their new internet and TV box, and it's blowing away anything else :

http://free.fr/adsl/

It's got a bluray player, a built in gaming console, a server with a NAS, it can play any video or audio, it's got a built in FTP Server, downloading server (BitTorrent, FTP, HTTP), and you can call mobile phones for free. And it's been designed by Starck
I can't wait to have it at home

Bummer about the Fatboy Slim gig Ben, but it'll be awesome whenever he shows up.

For you Americanos, Pendulum are to tour the States in February. I highly recommend seeing them, even if its in a support slot to a Linkin Park show. Absolutely blow each and every show outta the venue. We didn't think anyone could top it when we saw them in Budapest, but then it was the Prodigy that followed them that night so we weren't actually worried! :D

I think they are better in DJing than in playing live. Cologne has some serious D'n'B-Scene and everyone was excited when Pendulum comes around to play live (not only a DJ-Set). In the end everybody was happy when it ends and pissed of because of paying money to see it. It was the worst concert i've ever been to. They act like rockstars (like Korn for example) but they looked like douches. Why did they have to play every song on guitar? Come on, can everybody imagine songs like Vault, Back To You or Blood Sugar on guitar? No? Then stop trying to even think about it, it's not worth it.

I saw them live in Aus last month. I am not a massive fan but the show was good. I much prefer their earlier stuff before they're heads swelled up.

My attempts at filming them:-

As you can see I am way up the back, not good video but I wanted to test a sound recorder I got.
Further Remixed There's nothing else...

I read that article!

Destroying the entire immune system, while leaving your body open to infection just to get new stem cells to get better is risky.

Yeah... I gave it a 7. It was disappointing in some ways, but overall I thought it was pretty well done. In the end, though, there's nothing there that really moved me, and it resulted in nothing more than some well put together eyecandy. But oh, such good eyecandy.

Oh, right. In the lulls of the holiday season--a bit stressful in not-so-great ways and I ran into unexpected trouble with my son's mother as well as utter disappointment from the ex-girlfriend. Bah humbug.

But hey--Simian Mobile Disco are touring in the early spring, so at least there's that. Their live show is the only experience for me that nearly rivals my first Chems show back in 2002. :D

Happy holidays everyone. ::hugs for all::

Howdy folks.

Man, I am crabby during the Holiday season. Every year, too. I try to get into it but December is always a rotton month for me.

I guess I am looking forward to my two year old opening gifts; this is the first year he understands about Santa, so it should be fun.

Anyway...I haven't been posting as much but I still stop by often to see what's up. Work has been busy and I'm not sure when I'll be back on...so...Happy Holidays to all my Brothers and Sisters!

Oh yeah...Robot Chicken Star Wars 3 was awesome.

Gonna work it out...

Wow, being a Hipster is becoming more and more popular over here!
I usually don't have nothing against new lifestyle waves, but what's up with them dressing up as retarded homosexual down-syndrome nerd hippies? Really, what's up with that!?

Awww, I hear ya in the crabby department... But it's the kids during this time of year that make it all worth while! Thankfully now the season is coming to a close and another year is upon us.

And the new Robot Chicken is totally awesome. Love it!

Yeah not really sure about this young'un movement but I can't judge too harsh since I was a bit of a goth in my younger days. Hipsters do make me feel old, though!

What's up with the cracks at people with disabilities? My son has a disability and his best mate has Down Syndrome. He is such a nice guy with a huge sense of humor and brings a lot of joy into people's lives. Really, what's up with that!?

Same here my friend! Btw, do you get some time with your son this Xmas! Your post got me concerned a bit cause you mentioned some trouble with the mother! I hope not because everyone should be together for the holidays, similar to the togetherness of Lindsay Lohan and the Betty Ford Clinic, but not so similar to the togetherness of North and South Korea!

2 years old rocks! They're like sponges...they absorb the Xmas trees, the presents, the lights, etc! Soon they'll be singing the holiday commercials! HH to you!

I personally want to redo this whole year because I didn't accomplish much of what I wanted to do this year! I kind of didn't take my word at the beginning of this year on NY resolutions, so I have to move them to next year! (I call it the procrastinating rollover)

If you actually read my post you'd see i wasn't referring to or 'cracking' at people with disabilities.

Can't exactly speak for Krisper, but I think he was taking issue with the derogatory way in which people with disabilities was applied to your experience with annoying hipsters.

Thanks WhirlyGirl, you get what I mean.

@Igorchete You have every right to express yourself however you want, but I also have a right to to tell you if something offends me. Whether you care or not doesn't really matter, no big deal.

I was a bedroom DJ, now I’m a bedroom bartender too. You’ve got a bottle of liquor? I’ll tell you how to spice it up.
