Ebw8 did suprise me a bit as an EBW though. EBW9 is a typical EBW monster but EBW8 is something i could hear back on Chemical 6.
I love it anyway , i don't care in what way it's released as long as i can listen to it 10 times an hour ( Like what i am doing now! )

yah, really. when EBW9 comes as a high-quality release... it's going to sound great on loud monitors with big bass -- knock you out!
but for me now I think that the tune in EBW8 and the way the whole track flows so gently... it's lovely!!

the only problem i see coming is - following this tune up in a live set for the chemical brothers themselves is gonna be a quite a challenge! all the best! we know u'll take us by surprise alright! but how the fuck this time? :) GO CHEMS GO!!

Yes I'm back from work and listening again. Love EBW 9. It will explode Turnmills when the play it NYE. EBW 8 is still a bit strange to me. Like Jeanie said it doesn't "sound" like a EBW. It's hard beat gives it a big contrast with the euphoric drum break. I love that part but combined it sounds strange, new, unique. I think I like it alot

it IS STRANGE! UNIQUE! MINDFUCKINNEW, N SO BEAUTIFUL!! i wonder if this tune stands in any big scheme of things for the album. it's tough to fit this massive piece anywhere!

Can I just add that I've never experienced a track growing on me as fast as EBW8, what an AMAZING track, it'll be great live.
