"yo yo yo last night was messed up.

So me, Nick and Puneet were standing outside Nick's apartment smoking Marlboro sigs. This fob bunch is so secretive about smoking cigs that they actually go into detailed planning about when and where to smoke them. One of them provides us with a mint gum and the other one with a Tommy Hilfiger perfume. No trace of smoking is left.Ever. ANYWAYS,

Puneet gets a call on this slick new cell phone. He immediately panics and tells us to get in the car. "Chalo CHalo Chalo, hurry up! get in the car!". Me and Nick look at each other with a bemused look. He tells us the his brother is having a seizure and needs to be taken to a hospital. He takes my keys and drives like a fucking maniac. Doing 70 in 40. Nick and I try to calm him down by saying everything is going to be ok and that he needs to drive calmly.He drove my baby very crazily and I'm still mad about that. We almost got into an accident, thanks to Puneet's quick reflexes we are still alive. Otherwise you wouldn't have the pleasure to read this interesting story. ANYWAYS,

We get to his house, he is in the middle of an attack. Epileptic attack. Which I'm still trying to figure out what triggered it. Puneet tells me it's stress and pressure. He thinks that because he yelled at his mom infront of him ,Rohit, he is having this seizure. His head was shaking and his feet were trembling. His mom and sister were all there to calm him down. Because me and Nick have never met the brother before, his mom advises us to step outside. Maybe she thought he might have another attack seeing that we were outsiders/strangers. All this time Puneet is trying to calm Rohit down. Sonia(her sister) thought otherwise. She kept telling Puneet to speak calmly and not loudly. "Pagal insaan, tu usko araam se baat kar. Tu usko auur dara raha hai." We take him to Emergency. Oakwood Community Hospital. 10 minutes ride for their suburban house. Rohit, Puneet, Nick and this other cousin all go in one car and Puneet tells me to be responsible for taking his mother and sister to the hospital. As I'm taking them to the Emergency, mom and sister tell me that this attack has happened to him before six months ago. Doctor didn't prescribe any medication and basically just told them not to let Rohit drive car. I started imagining what might the scene look like if someone is having a seizure while driving. Scary thought.

We get there, Rohit is already in the emergency room talking to the doctor.

Puneet gets pissed off because the doctor was talking a lot of time filling out the report and not the actual check up. I tell him it's important for them to ask all these questions, for records purposes.

30 minutes of waiting in the Visitor waiting room. Let me remind you at this point that me, Nick and Puneet were both heavily intoxicated before all this ordeal. We were chilling at Nick's drinking Budweiser and Red label. A little bit of Chavel Reagal. Watching Dil Chahta Hai and repeating all the funny dialogues from the movie,.... "Akaaaasshh......tum bhi sameer ho.....mein sooch raha tha ke Switzerland ja ka shahed-ki-makihon- ka farm khol lo...christine chahti hai...." ANYWAYS,

This whole thing was a major buzz kill. Puneet decides that he is going to stay with his brother for the rest of the night. Fucking 1 oclock at night.

We go back to Nick's apartment and finish off where we left off like a good

concerned friends would do.

Nick starts to puke but later cleans after himself. I wasn't going to touch that shit. I crash at his place. I wake up at 1030, he is already gone to work and I come home to thechemicalbrothers.com."

OK, so a few weeks ago we announced that a midnight screening of Daft Punk's directoral debut, Electroma, would be happening on Friday, July 13. Well, the screening IS still happening but we've turned this into not just a movie screening but a full-on party as we've now added the Chicago debut of Mr. Oizo, of Ed Banger Records fame, along with the city's best and brightest DJs (see the flyer below, yo)

Doors open at 11PM with the movie starting right about the same time. Following the movie, Metro will flip on the lights and the DJ madness will begin. The event is still 18+ and will now go until 4AM.

Tickets will be available at the door for $15, which includes the movie if you arrive early, so if you're coming from the Pitchfork Festival, fear not cause we've got you covered. Seating for the movie will be limited too, so you know, it's still the old first come, first served. You can also purchase tickets in advance for $13 by visiting Smash And Crunch.

For those of you that have already purchased tickets for the movie, please be aware that you're now invited to stay for the DJs (and also know that you saved yourself a few bucks!). People yapping bout wanting midwest/toronto/seattle dates and though I wanna go somewhere close....I gotta move home and start school in september. Next someone 'll say calgary and I'll really lose it (not in a good way....bad memories)

Most of you know my fascination with the weather.

Well , tonite was great for me!

My mum calls me " jeanie look at the clouds! " so i look and it looks so awesome - the whole sky is SO dark and green , so scary and treatening , and suddenly this wind comes , VERY strong wind...like a tornado...really strong winds like that!

All the birds fly away and it gets really quiet...

I go inside and i see all the telly's dont work anymore ( i mean the channels are all out of the air ) and i called my brother and i couldnt hear him thats how bad the reception was!

So its starts to rain really really hard and tham BAM!!

Lightening hits like 2 blocks away from me and SO loud thunder.

I love storms :D and the past 2 weeks there have been thunderstorms every day like 3 or 4 times a day....!! So strange!

I saw Gogol Bordello on Sunday night. Wow, what a show! Eugene Hütz is an incredible showman. He had the crowd in the palm of his hand. Unfortunately, I still wasnt feeling well when I attended, so I sat up in the balcony for the show. Everyone down below was going NUTS! I wish I was down there jumping up and moshing with them. They did 2 encores! they played so well.

After the concert, I went to the promo thing 7/11 is doing with the Simpsons movie in turning the stores to the Kwik-E-Mart. Me and my friend kinda had to travel out of the way to get there, which sucked, because it ended up being ultra lame. I still got a squishee though, and the doughnuts were very tempting.

Then when I got home I was litteraly coughing up chunks of phlegm. So I ended up staying home from work today and I still feel like crap. The only thing that Is making me feel good is knowing the release of WATN is today for the states!

Oh Yeah, Robitussin works.

The weather is fucked in France too... Is it March or what ? At non yesterday the sun was shining, the sky was blue and 2 hours later, big storm, loud rain and big Lightning...

I hope the weather is good friday when I'll be to a festival.

On a more general bullshit note, I am a terrible friend. I got so drunk [5 double vodka and lime, 3 vodka and burns and a pint of harp- I know I'm a disgrace]. I was caught just before I left by a girl whom my friend is somewhat interested in, she buttered me up and before I knew it we were on the way round to the local chinese. Damn it... So she give me my special and I was so happy and instead of eating the chinese i found myself eating her. I am so guilty. I feel so bad. I plead guilty as charged... How do I break the news? EUGH! It doesn't help that I cracked up at the fact my ex-bestie went with my ex-gf. I look like such a hypocrit aswell. FFS!
