rallying up some sought of support for at least 1 or two shows in Canada is def a good idea. There's no harm in trying.

Torantah!!....I mean Toronto.
ummmmm a little bit of a distance.....not impossible.....I'll say it's my highly likely 2nd (or 3rd) option for going to a chems show in canada. (money permitting)

there is no lessar known airlines flying to toronto from edmonton. just Westjet (which I avoid now like a plauge cause of my ex still works for them) and air canada......yah.........
I've also taken the scenic route in driving to toronton....that was a longggggggggggggg trip. (45 hours later).........
so yah, Vancouver is still #1 for major city canada show for me (of course heart set on edmonton)

I think the most realistic idea at this point for you Canada people might be Coachella. Mmmmmboy. :)
But I do hope you get your Chemical fix soon enough--I feel rather spoiled that the shows I was able to go to were completely accessible by car.

I think Pooter might be right, good Neighbors to the North.
The Chems have moved out off the continent to other places, and if there haven't been dates thrown out there by now... you know... I hate saying this because I don't know for sure but my gut says it's just not looking positive for your guys right now.
But I bet the Chemical Brothers are aware of the Canadian love that's out there - so if not this time, then there's always the future.
And Coachella. That's *if* the Chemical Brothers play Coachella. It hasn't been confirmed but keep your fingers crossed!!!
If any of you want to know more about Coachella, just ask me as I've gone to 4 of them since 1999. Or MadPooter and Bosco I'm sure would be happy to chime in. It's a great festival, people come from all around and from what I've read the Chemical Brothers like playing there. God knows the response they get when they play Coachella is fantastic (last time it was 2 steps beyond mega!) so let's hope for 2008!
