Yeah, I noticed that too when I got it on vinyl some years ago. But I doubt they copied it from him (Bonobo release says 2003). It's rather a sample or they just sound simiiar to each other.

if you watch the special features to i think it's Ong-Bak (although could be warrior king), there is a really cool eatern style dance song which has the beat to elektrobank on it. It's quite good, doesn't sound like some ibiza island kebab shop at 5am dodgy european trance music. More natural sounds with the Elektrobank beat.
