I find the surrender era artwork the best too.

The OOC single artwork is the nicest to look at.

I like it all (especially since I have a soft spot for the Elektrobank single image, hehe) but I like the Come With Us era artwork the best. What sold me was the image on the Star Guitar single - I think it's so beautiful.

Interesting, Kate Gibb's approach to creating the works she's done for the Chemical Brothers. I'm not familiar with her other work, so I don't know if the way she creates screenprints in exclusive to the Chemical Brothers. Anyway. Apparently, the artwork done for the Chems was created in multiple layers on top of one another to create depth. Gives the art a real multi-dimensional (my word of the day) feel, rather than the art looking flat. I also like the colors, as they are aesthetically pleasing. I think in the case with the Surrender art as well as Come With Us, the visual artwork is a good representation of the depth of the Chems music - compliments each other nicely.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

I wonder what the artworks for Chemical Five will look like.

I love the big image on my Out of control promo 12". The image is screenprinted onto the card in blue so you can see everything thats going on in the image, much more than you can see on the regular cd / 12" :).

There are some sort of rainbowish colored things covering some people in the Surrender cover... and the same things are also on some collaborators in the Singles 93-03 sleeve and on the chems themselves. What do you think they represent? Unity?

I have all the chems releases on vinyl because I love the artwork. I love the simple pictures from the EPD and DYOH era on the singles and then came surrender and CWU with al the colorful sleeves. My favourite must be the CWU album. It's just beautifull. My favourite picture is that orange from the EPD album. so simple so great

For me it's the Block Rockin Beats single. The juxtaposition of the grenade with the feather, amazing.

I think those ribbens inspired the freestyle logo or visa-versa, either way it was something that kate gibb (I believe) added just to give the picture more character, I know they talk about it over at planet-dust.net under features (hint hint)
