Cool beans, mippio! I dig this alot, I love the tube from it's history right down to riding it. :D

A few years ago when stash and I were visiting London, we went to Camden Town and the tube stop there still had an old wooden escalators. It was one of the very last ones of its kind in use, and getting ready to be torn out. Going up the wall next to the escalators was a brief history of the tube - a big mention of how "these stairs carried thousands to safety" during the WWII Blitz. Coming from a place where everything is so new or undergoes facelifts every 5 years, it kind of hits you when you're rushing about and standing on a place that has it's solid place in history. It made me kind of sad they were tearing out those old wooden escalators. Anyway...

Me and my friend are working on this project. It's a halo 2 video. See, we play games online and what people tend to do is make videos of them playing to make them look really good. They call them Montages, but we're just going to stick with the default name of a 'Halo Video'.

Usually what happens is you record all the games you play and edit them to make you look good. Usually most people do this through a tv card, the better the tv card the better qaulity and more cool things you can do. It sometimes costs around 100pounds for a good TV card and then you have to buy things like the wires and AV Spiltters etc. Comes to about 110pounds after that, but i picked up my gear for just 42, was proud of myself :)

Anyway, if you interested on how this works, basically you have your tv card, with an AV-In socket so that it can record the tv screen. The qaulity compared to a tv is really bad which is why you use an AV Spilter to spilt the Screen basically like, share it in a way so the tv card can record it, but you can play off your tv. Same with the audio. Then after that you just record the games, sometimes it takes up alot of memory so you gotta have a big harddrive.

To edit there are many different programs but i just use Windows Movie Maker, Im new to this stuff.

Anyway, the good part and the point of this post. Usually what happens when you make a thing like this you have music to sync with what is going on in the video. Me and my partner were thinkin for a while what to use, my first suggestion was DJ Tiesto but he declined that straight away. Heh, then i said what about Hey Boy Hey Girl?! 8O

He didnt say no, he immediately said yes! So we're going to make a halo video with HBHG as the backing track and at the end, we're going to try and have cut ups of morning lemon, when we want to increase the tempo of the movie :)

When its done ill put it on Google Video or Putfile so you guy's can see it. It should be good :D

dude, that's cool.

I never got that into Halo.... I remember seeing screenshots of it ages and ages ago, when it was still going to be a PC release, then M$ bought Bungie and kept it xbox exclusive for so long, and I hated it.

BLACK looks good, can't wait to play it.

I made like a 15 second clip, just to see how it all worked and the backing track for that is Kraftwerk - Computer World.

I know the basics now and when i get my partner involved, hopefully it looks good.

BLACK? Never heard of it.. is it a FPS?

i am not a big traveller but all i can recommend is Bombay, India. Don't be afraid, there are no terrorist there...well they are but you wouldn't be bothered. It is the city that never sleeps and there is always ALWAYS something to do so you wouldn't be bored. It is safe for travellers plus it will be so much fun. Here is a chemicalreaction brochure for BOMBAY (Mumbai for the Locals)

Here are some images ;_

yeah kids are waiting for the bus to come while the cow is well chillin.

This would be the railway station

hi mom where are you ?

Bombay has both good and bad side like every other metropolitin.

PLUS it is home of bollywood,it churns out nine hundred films every year, mostly racy potboilers or mushy romances filled with song, dance, violence and melodrama.

and there are millions of places to visit along with great indian food....mmmm

think about it

Ah Girlelectric , please allow me to give you some tips!

DEF !!!!!!!! Go to tokyo. It's an expierence you'll never forget. Ive been there in total 4 months and i wanna go back! Kamagura ( if i remember the name right ) is 1 hour by train from Tokyo and it still has all this traditional shrine's and stuff.

My favorite country has to be Scotland though. And it's so close to where you live! Dunno of youve ever been there , but the area Glencoe is honestly the moest beautifull nature ive ever seen. Ireland is pretty cool alswel , esp the south west.

Denmark is reaaaally lovely. It sounds boring , but Copenhagen is amazing !! The Danish are so nice , you'll love them. Nice for 1 or 2 days.

I also loved Chzech Republic and Slovenia. It's fucking cheap , and if you are in Slovenia around the Lake of Bled and Ljubljana ( I dunno how to spell it ) the nature is sooooooo amazing !!!

I've also been to an island group called The Seychelles - but this is far out in the sea and it's bloody expensive. It's amaaaaaaaaaaazing though - white sand , blue see , bounty kinda thing. But this is only if you have a very big budget !!

And offcourse NY , i believe everybody should go to the big apple at least once ;) And from here you could go to Canada , ive only been to Sherbrook ( 2 hours south east from Montreal i believe ) but it was soooooooooo beautifull and the people were so nice !!!

Fuck ive been to so many places , and i cant remember !!

Somehwere i havent been but i am fascinated by is New Zealand. You could gro there form Australia! New Zealand has EVERYTHING , nature wise. I also reaaaaally wanna go to Iceland and Norway , and Sweden and this kind of country's.

Man , if i come up with anything intresting i'll let yah know hehe.

Paris is a really beautiful town for tourists.

I really loved Roma in Italy, there's so much beautiful things to see, and I dig Pompei too, even if we were a little group of 5 14years old frenchies lost in it, we had lost the group X-D .

Scotland is cool too, I agree wit Jeanie, but I didn't see much of it...

Countries I didn't like : Germany, Austria, Spain...

Come to Canada. It's got everything the USA has to offer, PLUS mosquitos the size of footballs and winter cold enough to freeze over hell itself. X-D

Just kidding, most of Canada is wonderfully scenic, the people are (mostly) nice, and the currency exchange works in your favour. The cities of Montreal and Quebec in the province of Quebec are fantastically cultured and Vancouver on the West Coast is a gorgeous city and just an hour or so drive from world-class skiing and snowboarding. If you want to experience Texas, but with mountains, go to Alberta: West Edmonton Mall is the world's largest shopping centre (complete with an indoor amusement park and waterpark).

(And even Winnipeg has its moments...... although I wouldn't recommend crossing the Atlantic just to come here.)

California is a great place to visit, as it's got just about everything good and everything bad about America on visible display.

Personally, I would very much like to go to South Africa.

This is killing me, not knowing how the Liverpool-Benfica match went today. The game is being broadcast on tape delay in two hours and I want to watch, but it's SOOOO tough not going to all my regular football sites....

2 places at the top of my list to go to are Japan and Turkey.

I'd also like to visit some places in Russia, I think that would be a cool experience. Also Prague would be an amazing city.

stash knew someone who came out of retirement so she could save money for a 3 month cruise. She went to Easter Island, Galapagos, down the southern most tip of South America... amazing stuff, maybe one day... one day... one day...

Hell, I'd like to just do nothing for a good year or 2 and travel to as many places as I could.

Bleh. Waste of time. Even if the 'Pool had won, I don't think I would have been satisfied. A poor game by both clubs. Benitez bewilders me sometimes. Kewell and Garcia should not be in the same starting lineup... ever. Zonal marking fails on a setpiece... again. Playing for a draw against an inferior team. Bleh.

At least it allowed me to get some biochem studying done.
